Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber’s daughter walked the runway on Sunday, showcasing Jason Wu’s Spring 2026 collection. The collection was designed as a celebration of artist Robert Rauschenberg’s 100th birthday.
The transgender model looked stunning in a white bralette and artistic skirt, highlighting her toned legs and slim build.
The sixteen-year-old walked confidently across the room in white heels, keeping a serious expression on her face as she looked around.
She had long, straight blonde hair that cascaded down her shoulders, and her naturally high cheekbones were accentuated by simple, understated makeup.
Kai recently shared details about her journey with understanding her gender identity, and also talked about someone who greatly inspired her along the way.
In a June interview with Interview Magazine, she explained that she’s researched how transgender people have overcome challenges throughout history.
Kai shared that she’s known since she was young that her gender identity didn’t align with what people expected, and she’d always dreamed of becoming a confident, stunning, and impactful woman – someone like Marilyn Monroe.
The 57-year-old star of Ray Donovan and his 56-year-old, two-time Oscar-nominated wife have a daughter who shared the people who inspired her when she was a young transgender girl, especially during a challenging period for the LGBTQ+ community.
Kai shared with the magazine that they deeply admire earlier generations of transgender individuals, particularly those in the fashion world.
Kai mentioned a number of people he admires, including Alex Consani, Hunter Schafer, Hari Nef, Dara, Richie Shazam, and Colin Jones, among others.
It’s wonderful to see such a supportive community within the fashion industry – it really feels like a new generation is taking over!
The actress, known as a second-generation celebrity, shared that she experienced a turning point while collaborating with Valentino earlier in the year.
‘That job made me realise, “OK, this is what I want to do. I want to be a supermodel.” Period.’
Kai recently shared with the publication how she’s been working to improve her skills as a professional runway model.
Kai chuckled, saying, ‘I’ve been practicing my walks in the kitchen for years, and my mom has all the videos to prove it – I made her film them all!’
