Story Highlights
- Honkai: Nexus Anima is the latest Honkai IP game with creature collection and strategy.
- The game features Anima collection, autochess style battles, exploration, activities, unique characters, and more.
HoYoverse has begun pre-registration for their new game, Honkai: Nexus Anima, on their website. The game, an adventure and strategy title where you collect creatures, was first shown in May. Leaks suggested it would feature gameplay similar to autochess, and a closed beta test was announced for mobile and PC in August.
Collect Anima, explore the vibrant world, and engage in strategic battles
Honkai: Nexus Anima is the newest game in the popular Honkai series. It combines the fun of collecting creatures with adventure and strategic gameplay. Players collect and evolve creatures called Destined Spirits, or Anima, to unlock powerful abilities and compete in autobattler matches.

The game world is vibrant and a joy to explore, offering various ways to get around – you can fly on your anima, ride animal companions, or glide through the air. These adorable Anima companions follow you everywhere and remind you of Pokémon, and you can even bond with them by playing games together, like on a seesaw.
Players can experience deep character customization
I’m really looking forward to the detailed character customization – you can change everything from how your character looks to what they wear. But what I’m most excited about is collecting creatures like Puddlipup and Taileep and using them in battles that are similar to autochess. It feels different and fresh compared to other autobattlers, such as Magic Chess: Go Go, and offers a unique experience.
The game is shaping up to be really impressive! It boasts beautiful graphics, a huge world to discover, and lovable characters. I’m especially excited about some of the unique personalities, like Cassio Rollex, Victus, and Kumyo Kyo, and I can’t wait to see what the developers do with it.
Pre-registration for Honkai: Nexus Anima is now available on the official website! While we don’t have a release date yet, keep an eye out for future announcements.
