Hollywood superstar Margot Robbie has updated fans on the long-awaited Barbie sequel.
The 35-year-old Australian actor, famous for producing and starring in the hugely successful $1.4 billion movie, has stated that a sequel isn’t planned for the near future.
The actress recently shared that she finds the greatest joy in seeing people or projects achieve their best. She explained this in a new interview.
I was completely satisfied with the Barbie movie. It delivered on everything I hoped for, which is a really great feeling.
When Stellar Magazine asked Margot on Sunday about a possible sequel, she was direct: ‘There aren’t any plans for one at the moment.’
Margot Robbie, who recently had a baby with her husband Tom Ackerley in Los Angeles last October, will star in a new romantic fantasy film called ‘A Big Bold Beautiful Journey’ alongside popular Irish actor Colin Farrell.

She described the script as beautifully written, original, and full of magic and romance, explaining she was drawn to the idea of a love story. With a playful tone, she also mentioned she’d be thrilled to star in a romantic film with Colin Farrell.
The new movie features two characters who unexpectedly cross paths and get a chance to experience key moments from their past all over again.
While exploring the woods, they find a mysterious door that unexpectedly transports them back to significant moments from their shared history, allowing them to experience their most cherished memories together.
Elsewhere in the chat Margot reflected on what life is like for her as a new mother.
‘I don’t even know how to sum it all up in a neat sound bite. It’s too big,’ she said.
Margot is returning to acting just months after taking time off to have her baby.
She’s talked about how motherhood is hard to explain to people who haven’t experienced it. She says parents instantly understand each other, but those without children might not be interested in hearing about it.
She added: ‘So, it’s kind of like, “It’s the best,” you know?’

The Oscar-nominated actress has talked about her healthy lifestyle before, explaining that she usually enjoys sweets but eats a very clean diet when preparing for a film role.
In an interview with Emirates Woman, she admitted she struggles with restrictive diets. She explained that she becomes unhappy when she doesn’t eat enough, and simply isn’t able to maintain a lifestyle of salads and limited alcohol. She needs to enjoy her food!
She explained her new, healthier diet starts with either oatmeal and blackberries or a green smoothie made with kale and apple.
She likes to have a glass of wine occasionally, but she avoids unhealthy foods like saturated fats, fast food, sugary drinks, and chocolate when she’s preparing for something important.
She admitted she doesn’t usually eat very healthily, enjoying things like beer, fries, and burgers. However, when she needs to quickly get in shape for something like wearing a bikini, she’ll switch to a very strict diet of just carrot sticks for a few days – it’s all or nothing for her.
When it comes to working out, however, the star is more dedicated.
She spoke about her love of fitness in a chat with Women’s Health.
She started doing Pilates after moving to Los Angeles in 2013 and finds it really helps her feel better. ‘Always feel a lot better after a good stretch,’ she said.
A Big Bold Beautiful Journey is released nationally on Thursday.
