Olivia Wilde enjoys first public outing with Ellie Goulding’s ex-husband Caspar Jopling at W Magazine’s New York Fashion Week party

Olivia Wilde was seen out in public for the first time with Caspar Jopling, who is the ex-husband of singer Ellie Goulding, at a party during New York Fashion Week this week.

The 41-year-old actress was seen kissing a 33-year-old art dealer last week, and sources say they’ve been quietly dating since July, often meeting up in Notting Hill.

Olivia was spotted talking with her new partner outside Chez Margaux, a members-only social club, on Thursday.

She wore a quirky, semi-sheer gown which featured dramatic fluted sleeves and a ruffled skirt.

The director accessorized her look with a fur stole casually draped over her shoulder and a pair of bold, chunky heels.

Meanwhile, Caspar looked smart in a black shirt which he teamed with smart trousers.

Last week, the couple enjoyed a three-hour dinner with red wine at The Pelican restaurant in West London, culminating in a romantic moment outside.

According to sources, Caspar – who separated from his wife Ellie, 38, last year after almost five years of marriage – has invested in the restaurant and its neighboring pub, The Fat Badger. This investment allows him to see Olivia with more privacy.

According to a source who spoke with Daily Mail, Caspar has been secretly dating a famous actress for several months thanks to the privacy offered by certain pubs.

They always seem to snag the prime tables – cozy, secluded areas in dimly lit corners, typically saved for famous people.

Couples often choose The Fat Badger for dates because it’s a private pub with a hidden rooftop terrace where you can smoke.

Ellie was spotted on a date in Notting Hill with her new boyfriend, Beau Minniear, a 28-year-old American actor. He’s ten years younger than her.

Olivia was once engaged to Jason Sudeikis, and they have two children together. The relationship ended after seven years, and she later dated singer Harry Styles.

Caspar’s father, Nicholas Jopling, comes from a prominent family. Nicholas was educated at Eton and his own father, Thomas Michael Jopling, was a member of the House of Lords. Caspar was born in Yorkshire.

Jay Jopling, a well-known art dealer and the founder of the online platform Paddle 8, is Capsar’s uncle and likely influenced his career path. Princess Eugenie, a friend of Capsar’s, previously worked at Paddle 8 in New York before returning to London.

Jay was once married to director Sam Taylor-Johnson and they have two daughters together: Jessie, who is 18, and Angelica, who is 27.

Caspar’s parents separated, and his mother, Jayne Warde-Aldam, later married Charles Andrew Warde-Aldam.

The aristocratic family owns Frickley Hall, a historic building dating back to 1760 and designated as a Grade II listed structure. They are prominent figures in the equestrian world and organize the Frickley Horse Trials.
