Vicky Pattison admits she’s ‘struggling with gruelling Strictly rehearsals and fears she will be ‘rubbish’ when she makes her dancefloor debut

Vicky Pattison says she’s having a tough time with rehearsals for *Strictly Come Dancing*, and jokingly admitted she’d rather eat something disgusting than perform on the dance floor.

A previous winner of I’m A Celebrity, aged 37, has been announced as a contestant on the new series of Strictly Come Dancing, which begins on Sunday, September 20th.

Speaking to The Sun, the reality star admitted she’s already feeling the pressure.

She confessed: ‘I’d take kangaroo balls over glitter balls any day. I’m really done in.

I’m definitely not a dancer or an athlete, and I’m finding it really tough. Honestly, I’m just really nervous right now, and it’s starting to overwhelm me.

I’m getting increasingly frustrated and struggling to learn this. I’m really worried about making mistakes and embarrassing myself, especially if I try it and fail.

The star revealed she felt prepared when she first entered the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! show.

Unlike what people might expect, she’s currently very anxious about Strictly.

Vicky explained she now understands why Pete Wicks used to smoke so much while filming the show, as she’s feeling very stressed about making her own debut.

Luckily, she has the support of her husband, Ercan Ramadan, 32, who she says is kind, excited for her, and a great source of encouragement.

I really admire him. It’s like nothing ever gets him down, and he handles everything with such ease. I honestly wish I could be more like that – so calm and unflappable.

Vicky thinks that even though she and her partner are very different, their contrasting personalities are what make their relationship strong.

This interview follows a leak of the show’s pairings earlier this week, which caused disruption for Strictly.

I can’t believe how much effort the BBC put into keeping the celebrity pairings a secret! I’ve been so excited for this, and it’s finally happening next weekend. Fifteen celebrities will be competing against each other for the dancing trophy, and I’m already on the edge of my seat!

The secret celebrity and professional athlete pairings for 2025 didn’t stay hidden for long, and fans are already excited about the lineup.

Just a few hours before the show began, celebrities like Dani Dyer, Vicky, La Voix, and Chris Robshaw filmed a special performance with their dance partners.

And, true to form, Strictly’s notorious ‘super-spoiler’ had struck once again.

For over ten years, this fan has been publicly sharing results on their website and Twitter/X account.

The Daily Mail decided not to publish the contestant pairings to avoid ruining the surprise for viewers.

The BBC has been contacted for comment.

Strictly fans flocked to X to react to the leaked list, with many divided over the pairings.

They penned: ‘The #Strictly pairings are interesting’,

Wow, the pairings for Strictly are out, and there are some really exciting combinations! I’m looking forward to seeing how they perform.

‘I know the pairings and all I’m going to say is I’m shocked. Some real unexpected ones in there’,

‘Oooh the spoiler some interesting pairings #strictly’,

‘The #Strictly pairings Day = Ruined!’

‘None of the strictly pairings really fill me with excitement this year.’

In 2022, the Daily Mail identified the person who leaks results from “Strictly Come Dancing.” This person has been publishing the names of the eliminated couples on their website, Strictly Spoiler, every Saturday evening since 2012.

David Thorp, who is separated from his wife, responded to criticism that he was spoiling the show by saying viewers want to know the results immediately.

And he also blamed the BBC for not doing two live shows to prevent leaks from happening.

Thorp told Daily Mail: ‘I’m just providing a service and am not spoiling anyone’s enjoyment.

I don’t make my results public, so people have to actively search for my website to find them.

‘There is an appetite from people who want to know the results before Sunday.

The BBC could be held responsible for filming something newsworthy before it became public.

Thorp says he learns the results each week from different people in the audience, but sources close to the situation suggest he actually relies on a single source.

I usually find out the results either from people who were in the audience contacting me, or from other websites that share spoilers.
