Strictly’s Lewis Cope mistakenly shares a behind-the-scenes look at show ahead of launch episode

During an unintentional slip, Lewis Cope from Strictly Come Dancing revealed a sneak peek behind the scenes prior to the new season’s debut, only to promptly remove it afterwards.

The 30-year-old actor from Emmerdale has become part of an illustrious roster of celebrities this year and recently used his Instagram account to reveal a plot twist.

The actor from the soap opera, standing in for Kristian Nairn from Game of Thrones because of some health issues, shared a video featuring the entire 2025 cast all dressed up in their respective costumes.

This past week, the premiere was taped, yet unfortunately, Lewis accidentally showed a sneak peek to the audience. He swiftly removed it from view not long afterwards.

Once more, the beloved BBC program found itself in turmoil, only a day following the unauthorized release of its confidential pairings on the internet earlier this week.

BBC officials worked hard to keep the celebrity pairings secret until the scheduled launch next weekend, at which time fifteen celebrities will compete against each other for the glitterball trophy.

However, the closely held information wasn’t kept under wraps for long, as the celebrity-pro pairings for the year 2025 found their way onto the internet, generating excitement among fans about the upcoming lineup.

Just a short while ago, celebrities like Dani Dyer, Vicky Pattison, La Voix, and Chris Robshaw, along with their dancing partners, had finished filming an impressive performance number for the kickoff episode, which left everyone awestruck.

And, true to form, Strictly’s notorious ‘super-spoiler’ had struck once again. 

For over a decade, the fan has been publishing the outcomes of the results, not just on his personal website, but also on X page as well.

To preserve the element of surprise for viewers, The Daily Mail decided against disclosing the leaked matchups.
