I recently shared a mysterious TikTok video, not long before I decided to end my five-year relationship with Shaun White. (Nina Dobrev’s actions)

On Thursday, it became known that the 36-year-old actress ended her relationship with the former professional snowboarder following his proposal in October 2024.

One fan wrote, “Now I understand the video’s meaning following the breakup announcement,” while another speculated, “Could it be that she’s explaining their separation?” (or “Is this a hint about their split?”)

Dobrev and White started being romantically involved as early as 2020, and a source revealed details about their split to People magazine.

The source noted that their separation was amicable, driven by affection and profound admiration for each other. Furthermore, they continued to express mutual support even after parting ways.

The duo was last spotted together in public, hand-in-hand, on August 31, during an excursion in Los Angeles.

A confidant additionally spoke to The Daily Mail, offering insights on Dobrev and White’s recent separation, highlighting their contrasting priorities.

According to the source, Shaun has retired from the Olympics and is now eagerly preparing for marriage and starting a family, which typically involves those associated responsibilities.

Nina not only found herself part of the project, but she was equally eager to explore the future trajectory of her acting career, considering it a significant aspect of her personal goals.
