Chrissie Swan has finalised the sale of her Melbourne home for approximately $2.5million.
This popular radio personality put their residence located in Hawthorn East up for sale earlier this year, with an estimated price range of between AU$2.6 million to AU$2.86 million.
It is believed to have sold for just under its lower price range.
In 2022, she bought a fashionable property that needed some work. Over several years, she thoroughly transformed it into a brand-new living space through extensive renovations.
The property boasts two homes, with a spacious primary residence situated at the front and a cozy two-bedroom dwelling located at the rear. Remarkably, both properties are affectionately known by the names of renowned film celebrities.
In a lush, inner-Melbourne neighborhood, you’ll find Garland House – a property named after the celebrated actress Judy Garland, best known for her role as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. This house spreads out across an expansive 600 square meters.



The property additionally includes a compact two-bedroom residence situated at its backside, affectionately known as “Liza,” in honor of Judy Garland’s renowned daughter, Liza Minnelli, who was well-known for her work in Cabaret.
Previously, my beloved idol, Chrissie, expressed her firm conviction that every home should have a distinctive name, viewing it as a cherished family member.
As I invested more time into this place, the stronger my affection for it grew and the more I found myself thinking, ‘I truly need to excel in this project, I truly want to make it shine’, Chrissie shared about her renovation venture.

It boasts two large bedrooms and one bathroom, as well as a laundry and open-plan living space.
Nestled merely 11 kilometers from the heart of the city, I find myself incredibly fortunate to call this gem of a residence my humble abode. This central location means a leisurely walk is all it takes to reach the renowned Camberwell Junction – a place that undeniably holds a special charm for me!
In July, Chrissie had been renting out the property at a weekly rate of $730. However, she chose to put it up for sale soon after that.
The newly refurbished home features a spacious garden at the rear, offering seclusion, vintage aesthetics, and a refreshing outdoor experience to its visitors.
