Sharon Osbourne made a public appearance for the first time since her husband Ozzy’s funeral, with her daughter Kelly discussing their recent common interest in falconry.
The pair, mother and daughter, have recently enjoyed some quality time in Cornwall. As Kelly, aged 40, mentioned, this time rekindled joy for her mom.
Legendary singer Ozzy Osbourne, lead vocalist of Black Sabbath, tragically passed away at the age of 76 on July 22nd. His remains were peacefully interred a week later on the estate grounds of his residence in Buckinghamshire.
On Thursday, Kelly posted an update, having gone to Cornwall Falconry in Bugle, which is close to St Austell, accompanied by her 72-year-old mother.
In the Instagram video, you can hear her requesting her mother to extend her hand, which she did, followed by the owl lowering its head and perching onto Sharon’s hand.
Today, I had the pleasure of sharing falconry with my mother, and she absolutely adored it! Thanks to you, Gerard Sulter, for contributing to that joy as well!

Since Ozzy’s passing, Sharon has abstained from posting on social media but has shown support by liking messages shared by his team during this period of mourning.
Over the weekend, the individual’s Instagram team shared a fresh photo of him playing on stage.
In the caption, they expressed: ‘I hate to part ways. Rest assured, you’ll manage once I’m gone. Keep in mind, everything was done for you.’
Earlier this summer, news about Ozzy’s passing triggered an overwhelming wave of tributes from musicians and entertainment industry professionals across the globe.
In 2019, a musician, who had been living with Parkinson’s disease, sadly passed away at the age of 76, on July 22, with his beloved family around him.
His funeral on July 30 was attended by his family and a host of rock royalty.
During the event at their 250-acre estate close to Gerrards Cross, Sharon and her kids were accompanied by notable figures such as Marilyn Manson and Zakk Wylde, who is known for being Ozzy Osbourne’s lead guitarist.
The official records cited three reasons behind the rock legend’s demise: a heart attack outside a hospital, a severe heart attack due to coronary artery disease, and complications from Parkinson’s disease involving autonomic nervous system dysfunction.

Last month, it was announced that Ozzy Osbourne had passed away, surrounded by love. We are deeply saddened to share this news, and words cannot fully express the depth of our sorrow.
Earlier this month, it appears that the BBC had to remove an Ozzy documentary from its broadcast schedule due to worries raised by his family, who felt that the production may have been too hastily put together.
Unexplainedly, the airing of Ozzy Osbourne’s August documentary “Coming Home,” which promised an emotional and inspiring look into his final life chapter, was abruptly pulled off television schedules mere hours before its scheduled broadcast. The reasons behind this unexpected cancellation remain unclear.
It has been discovered that, under pressure from the Osbourne family, the broadcaster was forced to take immediate action at the last minute because of concerns about the rapid production pace of the show.
It was subsequently revealed that both the BBC and Paramount+ were separately working on documentaries about the rocker, as they had been granted access to him during the last three years of his life. Reports suggest that there was a competition between these channels to be the first to broadcast previously unreleased footage.
The documentary’s delay might have been due to concerns about its overall tone and theme, both from the family and other suggestions, as well.

According to a source, there have been private discussions suggesting that the BBC might have been hastening the release of their Ozzy Osbourne show, considering that Paramount+ was preparing an Ozzy-related movie as well.
Initially, the BBC intended to create a ten-episode series titled “Home To Roost,” which followed Ozzy and his wife Sharon’s return to the UK. However, following his death, they chose to produce a one-time documentary instead.
The insider noted that what truly mattered to the family was the general atmosphere and topic of the program, as it included one of Ozzy and Sharon’s final interviews jointly.
The endeavor by the BBC and the filmmakers seemed focused on getting their show aired before the Paramount+ documentary. This hurry, understandably, has raised some apprehensions among the family.
The Daily Mail contacted Sharon and Kelly Osbourne’s representatives for comment.
The show was scheduled to air on BBC iPlayer and BBC One on Wednesday August 18 at 9pm.
