The highly-anticipated version of Football Manager, named Football Manager 26, is set to hit the shelves soon! Following the cancellation of Football Manager 25, Sports Interactive and SEGA are gearing up to rectify the situation by launching Football Manager 26 on November 4, 2025.
The game will be available for PC and Mac, plus the Xbox and PS5 consoles, as well as Android and iOS devices through Netflix Games. A version for the Nintendo Switch called FM26 Touch will arrive on December 4, 2025.
Women’s football and Premier League licenses mark a new era for Football Manager 26
For the initial time, the game series now operates using the Unity engine, leading to an entirely novel management experience for players. A significant enhancement is the incorporation of women’s football, skillfully merged within the Football Manager universe, featuring licensed tournaments and an extensive pool of player data.

The Premier League’s entry as an official partner in full licensing means we now have authentic club symbols, uniforms, and images of real players. This makes the game the “anticipated sequel with groundbreaking transformations“, a promise from the creators for quite some time.
On game days, fans can now enjoy an enhanced experience thanks to cutting-edge volumetric animations modeled after actual games, as well as heightened visuals that amplify the drama of each play on the field. The revamped interface offers greater control and effortless navigation, making the overall experience even more immersive.
A significant advancement is the implementation of cross-game saving. Now, players can transfer their progress from Football Manager 23 and 24 seamlessly, and for the first time, Football Manager Mobile will be included in this feature. This means managers can pick up where they left off in their extended careers without having to start anew.
The announcement has been made, but the store pages are still under wraps for now. The prices haven’t been disclosed yet either, so we’ll have to wait a bit longer until everything is unveiled. In the meantime, keep an eye out for updates!
