Candace Cameron Bure used her Instagram platform to subtly respond to body shamers on Tuesday.
In a response to her critics, the 49-year-old actress from Full House House posted a selfie, showcasing a white tank top revealing her midriff and casual tan pants with a drawstring waist.
The response appeared to be a subtle yet poignant comeback, directed perhaps at those internet critics who recently pressured her into deleting a picture of herself wearing a swimsuit.
Apart from that, Candace didn’t shy away from flaunting her physique when she posted pictures of herself wearing a mini skirt and cardigan with an argyle pattern in navy blue and green from the brand Show Me Your Mumu.
She titled, ‘At first glance, this cozy sweater may seem harmless… however, it’s essentially hinting at the upcoming holiday season – Christmas!’
Last week, the television celebrity admitted that she erased a picture of herself in a swimsuit following an overwhelming wave of critical remarks about her body, which came from social media users.

During an Instagram Q&A, one of her nearly six million followers asked about the missing picture.
Candace shared that she was enjoying the last moments of summer, having a great time without focusing on her bathing suit or physical appearance.
However, the discussion in the comments turned into comments about my physical appearance. In the end, I decided it wasn’t beneficial and removed the post.
The mother-of-three has a history with body image struggles.
In the July installment of her self-titled podcast, she openly discussed struggling with an eating disorder during her adulthood years.
In my line of work as a lifestyle aficionado, I can’t help but highlight the remarkable journey of someone who made a name for herself in the world of entertainment at an impressively young age. Back in the vibrant 80s, I was gracing our television screens as DJ Tanner on the beloved sitcom Full House, all while barely reaching double digits. Quite a feat, wouldn’t you agree?
In the episode titled “Why Can’t I Feel Free in My Body?”, she mentioned that at 12 years old, she was typical in many ways – yet, she carried a bit more body fat compared to other children often portrayed on television.
She expressed concern at her age, wondering aloud why she continually ponders the issue so intensely. She questioned its significance and found it absurd, but nevertheless, she kept thinking about it, reflecting on her self-consciousness regarding her physical appearance.

On Wednesday, Candace, a vocal conservative and Christian, expressed her sorrow upon the passing of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.
Kirk, 31, was shot dead during an engagement at Utah Valley University.
Shocking videos from the school’s Sorensen Center courtyard, widely shared on the internet, depict the individual standing with a microphone, followed by a gunshot that hits him in the neck.
Graphic videos taken at the school’s Sorensen Center courtyard and spread online reveal an individual addressing a crowd through a microphone, abruptly cut short by a gunshot to his neck.
The reports indicated that Charlie was severely ill, and Candace posted a photo on Instagram asking people to pray for him, saying: ‘Let’s pray for Charlie.’
Candace captioned the image, ‘Jesus, we need a miracle for Charlie. Heal him ✝️ Lord.’
Approximately an hour following his reported passing, she shared another image accompanied by the heartfelt message, “Charlie, we adore you. Job well done, loyal and devoted servant.
Her caption was a string of three broken heart emojis.
