The recently penned ITV suspenseful drama titled “Passenger,” authored by the talented Andrew Buchan from “Broadchurch,” is now available on Disney Plus.
In the thrilling ITV crime series starring David Tennant and Olivia Colman that aired from 2013 to 2017, I had the privilege of portraying Mark Latimer – a role that marked my debut as an ITV drama writer with the production of Passenger.
Back in 2024, I found myself immersed in a gripping series that unfolded in a chilly northern town, shrouded in mystery as bizarre crimes began to surface.

In my fangirl excitement, let me tell you about Wunmi Mosaku’s captivating portrayal. She starred as detective Riya Ajunwa in an ITV mystery thriller, and this powerhouse actress described her character as a “big fish in a small pond.” That’s right, folks; she ruled the scene!
In a past conversation with Digital Spy, I playfully hinted, “There’s an enigmatic quality about this town.” You see, this character believes she is a diligent police officer-detective who left the bustling Met in London for love and family prospects, only to find that it all crumbles.

She can cling to the certainty that she’s an excellent investigator, and she feels it in her gut – there seems to be something off about this small town.
The cast also includes David Threlfall, Rowan Robinson and Barry Sloane.
The six-episode series “Passenger” can now be streamed in its entirety on Disney+, making it accessible for viewers. Previously available on ITVX, the collaboration between these streaming services allows each platform to showcase a ‘Taste of’ section featuring fresh content for audiences to discover new shows.

As a gaming enthusiast, I can tell you that recently, I’ve been enjoying some classic mysteries from across the pond on Disney+. Shows like Vicky McClure’s intriguing whodunit “Without Sin” and the always engaging British detective drama “Endeavour,” both of which are part of ITV’s lineup, have kept me hooked.
Currently, ITV is airing the initial seasons of Marvel’s “Loki”, featuring Wunmi Mosaku and Tom Hiddleston in the lead roles, as well as the fifth season of “Only Murders in the Building”, a show previously distributed by Disney.
The new edition of Living Legends is here! Buy Gaga in newsagents or online, priced at just £8.99.
