In the latest episode of The Block on Wednesday, Scott Cam dealt a harsh punch to contestants Han and Can during Kitchen Week.
While examining the couple’s installation job, Scott noticed that their range hood was installed at a height significantly lower than standard.
As a die-hard admirer, let me confess, if I found myself in the market for this home, there’s one element that would sadly prevent me from making an offer: that particular aspect, unfortunately.
‘If I’m cooking… I’d get hit in the head.’
Uncensored, Scott persisted in harshly criticizing the contestants, leaving them stunned and speechless.
He made a joke, suggesting that a group of unusually small individuals would be visiting the house, likely referring to them as a humorous way of describing a large number of people.

During the post-inspection discussion, Han firmly disagreed with the feedback, saying something along the lines of, ‘I value my own opinion more than others’ views in this matter.’
However, her partner disagreed, ‘I care what everyone thinks,’ said Can.
It comes after the controversial couple from WA sacked their ‘chippie’ earlier this week.
Following their victory in the rumpus room competition on Sunday evening, duo Han and Can left everyone stunned with an unexpected choice they made.
Upon revisiting the location to collect his belongings, Ben exhibited a thoughtful demeanor when queried regarding his professional bond with Han and Can.
He expressed a mixed emotion, admitting that he’ll regret leaving since he enjoys The Block, but honestly, House Two has been quite challenging for him.
As much as I’d love to be residing in a new abode right now, it seems I may need to pop over to House One and check if they could use the services of another fish and chip shop.
As a lifestyle expert, I found myself addressing a taken aback Dan Reilly, and with sincere empathy, I shared some news that may have caught him off guard. I explained to Dan that due to certain financial considerations, we decided it would be more beneficial for our team to collaborate with a skilled local tradesman named Shan, rather than continuing with the current arrangement. This change was not made lightly and is aimed at ensuring the longevity and success of our project.

The swap did not sit well with Ben, who labelled Han and Can ‘gutless’ for their actions.
While immersed in my work at the office on Thursday, Han casually inquired, “How close are you to finishing that secret door?” Her demeanor was somewhat frosty and evasive, making me wonder, “There must be something more to this than meets the eye.
From their attitude, it seemed like they might not be interested in working with me any longer, or perhaps they were hesitant to express that directly.
As events unfolded, a twist emerged when it came to light that Han had turned off her microphone before she informed Ben that he wouldn’t need his services for some time.
The video displayed Han, allegedly unwell, and Can getting into a van, where they appeared to be quietly discussing their intended conversation with Ben.
Producers took the team to task, asking them to explain their surreptitious actions.
When they promised to never remove their microphones again, they were strongly rebuked.
It’s not just about turning off your microphone when you’re ill, it’s also about shutting off your microphone and making complex decisions regarding construction work.
The lack of clear communication between the new builder, Shan, and the team led to a construction delay that ultimately became overwhelming for Han.
The producer questioned if we’d both concur that such a task is typically managed by Ben?
Musteringly hiding her emotions, Han rose from the sofa and walked away angrily, evidently upset by discussing her difficulties in the trades industry.
‘I need a minute,’ she said. ‘I’m sorry, it’s all too much.’
