Five notable antagonists have officially joined the cast for Season 4 of the popular superhero series, Invincible, based on Robert Kirkman’s acclaimed comics. The show is gearing up for its fourth season, and fans can expect some powerful adversaries to emerge from the pages of the comic books. Having already faced challenging opponents like Angstrom Levy, Conquest, and the Mauler Twins, viewers will finally encounter the long-awaited villains that have been eagerly anticipated in the series’ upcoming episodes.
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but eagerly anticipate the appearance of Thragg, one of the most formidable adversaries in the Invincible universe. Since the debut of the Amazon Prime Video series in 2021, there have been tantalizing hints about his entrance, making me even more excited for his inevitable showdown with our hero.
The animated series “Invincible” centers around a young character named Mark Grayson, portrayed by Steven Yeun, who finds out that, similar to his father, he’s endowed with extraordinary powers. After three seasons, the show is set to continue on Amazon Prime Video in 2026 for Season 4. It has also been confirmed that a fifth season will follow, but specific release details have yet to be disclosed.
Every Villain Confirmed for Invincible Season 4
Omni-Man

Following his debut as one of the initial villains in Season 1, J.K. Simmons’ character, Omni-Man, is set to reappear in Season 4 of Invincible. In a chat with Collider last February, Simmons hinted at his involvement in the upcoming season, suggesting that he had already begun dabbling in the production for Season 4.
In the exciting world of my favorite show, I made an entrance as the powerful alien protector of Earth, also known as dad to the budding superhero, Mark Grayson.
For many years, Omni-Man had been safeguarding Earth, but a surprising truth emerged: he harbored ambitions to govern the planet alongside his son in secret. This shocking disclosure transformed Omni-Man into one of the series’ initial antagonists, setting up a tense conflict where father and son found themselves on opposite sides, as Mark worked tirelessly to counteract his super-powered extraterrestrial father’s sinister plans.
After that significant event, Omni-Man experienced numerous challenges. He was incarcerated in an extraterrestrial prison, established a family on a different alien world, and traveled across the cosmos alongside an alien named Allen.
Dinosaurus

In the upcoming Season 4 of Invincible, we can expect a journey back to prehistoric times with the introduction of the fearsome Dinosaurus. This new character was unveiled on the official Invincible X feed in July, and it’s been confirmed that Matthew Rhys, known for his role in The Americans, will be voicing this character in the show.
The character known as Dinosaurs, a significant adversary from the comics of Invincible, has not made an appearance in the animated adaptation so far.
Originally recognized as human scientist David Anders, Dinosaurius is a dinosaur-like creature with human qualities. He lands on the wrong side of Invincible following an inclination towards aiding humans in their deadliest inventions.
In the world of Invincible, though often portrayed as a villain, this character exhibits occasional heroic traits. Notably, he demonstrates skepticism towards Thragg, who appears as an ally to the young Mark Grayson initially, but is known for his tyrannical nature.
Thragg

As an ardent fan, I’ve always looked forward to seeing Invincible’s formidable adversary, Thragg, come alive on screen. After a long wait, it seems that the powerhouse Vilturmite war general is finally set to make his much-anticipated debut in the fourth season of the animated series.
Following numerous instances of jesting, it wasn’t until March that Thragg was formally unveiled for the show, making him a significant draw for the upcoming season.
Among the formidable Viltrumite warriors that Mark Grayson encounters in his superhero career is Grand Regent Thragg. Born with the sole purpose of being a relentless, deadly force, Thragg makes his appearance on Earth after Conquest’s unsuccessful attempt to eliminate Invincible and seize the planet for his alien species.
He is known as a formidable enemy and the arch-rival of Invincible and Omni-Man, playing a crucial role in the plot as it unfolds in Season 4 and subsequent episodes.
The Devil

In the following season of “Invincible”, the Devil, who was previously taunted during the closing credits of Season 3, will officially emerge and play a significant role. This is set within the forthcoming plot involving the hellish events.
Robert Kirkman hinted at Satan’s role in the ongoing narrative of “Invincible“, suggesting that “every superhero story has a part where they visit hell and battle the devil.” Later, he playfully expressed, “Perhaps I should not have given away that detail” (as reported by Comic Book Movie).
It seems probable that the next season of the show will feature a journey to the underworld, given its connection to supernatural private investigator Damian Darkblood, who was last seen with the Devil in the post-credits scene of the Season 3 finale.
Battle Beast

Since its debut in Season 1, Battle Beast has played a crucial role in the narrative of Invincible. This reached a climax in Season 3 when the character assisted Omni-Man and Allen in escaping their interstellar detention, only to be blasted into space himself.
In April, the producer of Invincible, Simon Racioppa, informed ScreenRant that the character Battle Beast would be featured in Season 4. He hinted that this character is eager for more action, expressing a desire for further involvement.
In the Invincible universe, although Battle Beast isn’t classically portrayed as a villain, he stands out for his aggressive nature among the heroes. He plays a significant part in the franchise’s grand narrative. Eventually, he meets his demise at the hands of Thragg, demonstrating the immense power held by the fearsome Grand Regent.
