On Monday, Jackie ‘O’ Henderson astonished listeners by announcing live on-air that one of their leading producers, Jaimee ‘Mayo’ Hassos, is expecting a baby.
In a recent development, the well-known 50-year-old radio personality disclosed that they were preparing to broadcast, following which Mayo announced some thrilling news.
Jackie clarified, “A moment before we started the broadcast, I was here with Mayo discussing a few matters.
‘And she said, “Oh by the way, guys, there is just one more thing I’ve got to tell you”.’
Next, Kyle Sandilands requested Mayo to disclose some exciting news to the audience, and she announced that she was anticipating her second baby.
‘What a bombshell to drop just as we are about to go on air!’ Jackie said.
‘We are happy, but we are not happy because we are going to lose you again.’
Mayo took time off after welcoming her first child in December 2023.
‘Meet Hudson Ricky Blazquez, our newborn son, who arrived on December 5th at 10pm and weighed 2.5kgs. Our hearts are overflowing with love.’
Jackie O, a fellow star on Mayo’s KIIS FM radio station, paid tribute by writing ‘Huddy’ accompanied by a series of heart emoticons.
Wow, he’s stunning! What fantastic news, dear lady!” said Martha Kalifatidis, a star from the reality show ‘Married At First Sight.’
‘Ahhh he’s so sweet congrats guys,’ added fellow reality star Brittany Hockley.
The Amazing Race Australia host Beau Ryan joined the chorus with: ‘So happy for you guys’.
Hudson is Mayo’s first child with her husband Sebastian, whom she married in 2019.
After choosing to invest in an extravagant wedding rather than purchasing a home, they got married in the New South Wales Hunter Region.
Merely a few days prior to their wedding, Kyle and Jackie O deceived Mayo by pretending that her chosen venue had been mistakenly double-booked.
Using a ruse where a KIIS FM sales representative, posing as a representative from the venue, was deceived into believing that they were required to share the marquee with a Lebanese wedding celebration.
The hidden camera in the KIIS FM office next to Kyle & Jackie O’s studio caught on film the emotional response of the soon-to-be-bride to a shocking phone call.
