Full House star Candace Cameron Bure reveals why she yanked her swimsuit pic from social media

Candace Cameron Bure has shared reasons for removing a photo of herself in a swimsuit after some followers pointed out that it was no longer on her social media account.

49-year-old fan favorite from Full House posted a picture enjoying the last bits of summer, but it didn’t take much time before the photo ignited a flood of comments, making her feel that the potential hassle was not worth it in the end.

During an Instagram Q&A over the weekend, one follower asked if she had deleted the picture.

As an overly enthusiastic admirer, I’m thrilled to share that Bure herself clarified the situation! Contrary to initial assumptions, the now-deleted photo wasn’t of her in a bikini, but rather donning a one-piece suit – a fun and playful post, as she put it.

‘It wasn’t about the bathing suit or my body,’ she explained.

However, the conversation in the comments turned into discussions about my appearance. In the end, I decided it wasn’t worth it and removed the post.

The actress has long been candid about her struggles with body image.

Cameron Bure revealed during a July episode of her podcast that she struggled with an eating disorder starting at the age of 18.

Instead of constantly eating and then forcing myself to vomit, as if I were suffering from bulimia, I continue to identify as a person with this condition because these tendencies persist in my thoughts. Even though I may not act on them, I still require the strength to resist such behaviors and tell myself ‘No, Candace, we’re not doing that.’

She confessed that she’s followed every available diet plan since the age of 12, ranging from Nutrisystem to Jenny Craig, and revealed that her past struggles with eating disorders continue to challenge her in creating a balanced approach towards food.

She shared that she struggled greatly with an unhealthy approach towards food, which developed into bulimia, as she revealed in a conversation with Entertainment Tonight back in 2016. During his absences, she often sought solace in food.

In her 2010 memoir Reshaping It All, she revealed her battle with bulimia.

After the bombshell revelation by Candace in July about the brink of divorce in her marriage, Instagram has since underwent a cleanse.

As a devoted partner, I’ve shared my experiences of navigating a challenging period in our relationship with my husband, Valeri Bure, after three decades of marriage.

In 2020, there was a time when they considered divorcing, as deep rifts had formed within their marriage. However, their son played a crucial role in steering them toward healing and ultimately helped them reconnect.

In the scorching heat of July, on her captivating podcast, The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast, she nostalgically shared a heartfelt moment from our lives. She reminisced, “Val and I faced an incredibly challenging time, almost like a stormy season in our marital journey.

She said at one point, they both had thoughts about splitting up until their kids stepped in.

The situation was deteriorating rapidly, and we found ourselves expressing doubt, saying something along the lines of, “I’m not sure… I’m afraid we might not make it.

Since 1996, this couple has been happily married and is the proud parents of three grown-up kids: Natasha (age 26), Lev (age 25), and Maksim (age 23).

In simpler terms, she remembered the instance when their oldest son Lev, who was recording the podcast along with their pastor JP Pokluda, intervened during a difficult time concerning religion and helped navigate them through it.

She went on to explain, “That conversation marked a turning point for us. Our perspective shifted dramatically following that discussion. It’s surprising how profound an impact it can have when our children challenge us, saying, ‘Aren’t you behaving as responsibly as you should?’

She added: ‘I’m so grateful to Lev, and Maks and Natasha. They were so supportive of everything.’

Earlier, the former star of Fuller House shared insights on how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted her marital life.

During her interview with Yahoo! Lifestyle in March 2021, she openly acknowledged that many topics we’ve long been reluctant to discuss have suddenly become unavoidable and glaringly evident.

It was inevitable that we needed to discuss these matters directly, tackle the difficult issues together.

It proved necessary for us to engage in these conversations and address the tough subjects head-on.

Back in the day, I found myself head over heels for this ex-NFL ice hockey player, all thanks to an introduction by my Full House colleague, Dave Coulier. Before you could blink, we were deep in love and he popped the question mere months later – talk about a whirlwind romance!

On June 22, she shared a gushing tribute dedicated to her partner on Instagram.

31 years ago, we had our inaugural official outing at his ice rink in Fredericton, New Brunswick. It was @dcoulier who brought us together during a charitable hockey event in Los Angeles 4 months prior.

30 years ago, on June 20th, we became engaged in the enchanting city of Paris. Exactly 29 years ago today, our wedding took place, on June 22nd. We’ve since nurtured a wonderful family together. Happy anniversary to my beloved partner and lifelong friend. Here’s the song that played during our first dance.
