Proud dad Gordon Ramsay gushes over daughter Tilly, 23, as she lands her very own cooking show forging her own path after he vowed his kids would never be ‘nepo babies’

On a joyful Friday, Gordon Ramsay expressed his enthusiasm over his daughter Tilly, who made her professional mark by securing her own cooking show, paving her unique career route.

The straight-talking chef, aged 58, used social media to express his pride in his daughter, as her Prime Video series titled “Dish It Out” debuted on the streaming service.

23-year-old social media sensation Tilly cooks with famous guests, but her culinary critiques are milder compared to those of her father. (Or, alternatively, while her father’s comments on food might be more stern, Tilly’s are gentler when cooking with celebrities.)

There are over 50 famous faces taking part in the show, including Gordon and his wife Tana.

Posting behind-the-scenes photos from her series, Gordon informed his audience: “She’s matured and now hosts her own program.

‘So proud of you @tillyramsay and your new @amazonprime show #DishItOut (that’s streaming today!).

Also, thank you for inviting the old man as our guest! He may still have a few tricks up his sleeve. Can’t wait to watch the rest and I’m so proud, Dad!

The description of the program unveiled by Amazon states that Tilly Ramsay will guide viewers of Dish It Out through an exciting adventure, where they’ll explore popular internet topics and share cherished family meal ideas.

In every installment, she’ll open mystery food items and equipment, showcasing recipes from famous chefs, online stars, and dear ones.

With a unique touch that’s a blend of cherished family secrets and today’s trendiest culinary sensations, Tilly crafts each dish into delectable works of art.

Previously, Tilly had featured in multiple cooking programs and at the tender age of 15, she also authored her own cookbook.

In the year 2015, she secured a cooking show of her own on CBBC titled “Matilda and the Ramsay Family.” This series documented Matilda preparing meals for her family during their vacations and continued until 2019.

I couldn’t help but share my enthusiasm as I found myself standing beside Gordon on the sets of This Morning for their popular cooking segments titled Big Chef Little Chef. But that wasn’t all! Together with my dear old man, I had the privilege to judge the ninth season of MasterChef Junior – a dream come true for any food-loving enthusiast like myself.

Tilly’s latest production arrives several months following Gordon’s pledge to ensure his six kids steer clear of nepotism.

Previously, he firmly stated that none of his kids rely financially on their parents and are each carving out their individual paths to success in their respective careers, independently from him.

Following Tilly’s choice to learn under the tutelage of Ballymaloe Cookery School, that’s when it happened.

Or:

After Tilly chose to study at Ballymaloe Cookery School, like he had done, that’s where it transpired.

Or:

Tilly decided to attend the Ballymaloe Cookery School and that was followed by the event happening.

Each of these phrases maintain the original meaning while making the text more conversational and easy to read.

In an interview with Closer magazine, I shared that she took charge of her own destiny. She earned her living, put aside funds, and is now pursuing her passion at a culinary school.

Reflecting upon our parting moments as I watched her board the ferry, a pang of regret stirred within me. ‘Ah,’ I mused, ‘If only she had asked me to share my wisdom, could that have been the chance for a fruitful mentorship? Was it an opportunity missed or simply a lesson learned?’

I’m eagerly anticipating asking that question, yet it underscores the fact that my children are still quite innocent. Each one is carving their unique journey without relying overly on their parents. I believe this independent spirit is commendable.

Alongside his spouse Tana, Gordon is blessed with four children: Megan, aged 26, the twins Jack and Holly who are both 25, Oscar, who’s six years old, and a one-year-old baby named Jesse.

Instead of pursuing a career with high-profile earnings, Jack, his son, chose a different path and joined the Royal Marine Commandos. Their initial salary is set at approximately £17,549.

Over the past week, I’ve been left utterly spellbound by none other than the great Gordon himself, who bravely shared his recent battle with Basal Cell Carcinoma – a type of non-melanoma skin cancer. This news has me on the edge of my seat, as I anxiously follow every update regarding his recovery.
