In April 2023, the show titled “Golf” was officially approved for production. Will Ferrell worked together with Josh Rabinowitz and Ramy Youssef to create it. As of the most recent news, however, neither Ferrell nor the other two co-creators appear to be part of the project anymore, as reported by Deadline.
Harper Steele is additionally set to take on the role of executive producer, signifying another creative partnership between Ferrell and him, following their successful collaboration in the critically-praised documentary titled “Will & Harper“, which premiered on Netflix the previous year.

With an impressive almost-perfect approval score of 99% based on 122 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, Will & Harper chronicles the journey of the duo as they set off on a 17-day road trip across America, documenting Steele’s personal transition.
During our evaluation of the movie, we stated: “Will & Harper” serves as an essential feast of humor, camaraderie, and insight that achieves significantly more in terms of education and consciousness than any monotonous virtual diversity and inclusion seminar held via Zoom ever could.
The Guardian commented that the study is compassionate and insightful, offering a practical understanding of allyship. Ferrell navigates various challenging, sometimes risky scenarios to figure out the correct course of action in his daily life.

The review from Vulture suggests that one of the film’s greatest accomplishments lies in a seemingly ordinary scene: a heartfelt conversation between friends, filled with honesty and tenderness about their thoughts. On the other hand, Mashable described the movie as both incredibly joyful and emotionally stirring.
Before Freddie Ferrell’s comedy series hits Netflix, they have already revealed a sneak peek at “I Will Find You”, a brand new thriller inspired by Harlan Coben’s top-selling novel with the same title.
Will & Harper is streaming on Netflix.
