Recently, we got our initial peek at several principal actors and figures in the upcoming Netflix series, “I Will Find You” – a new Harlan Coben production – and it has already sparked much anticipation among enthusiasts.
Instead of “Lazarus,” a new production soon to air on Prime Video and marking the author’s first original screenplay for television, “I Will Find You” is an adaptation of another one of Coben’s novels. This particular book was previously praised by the Sunday Express (via Amazon) as one of his best works.
The story, titled “I Will Find You“, revolves around a man who is incarcerated for life due to a tragic event: the murder of his small child, a crime he did not perpetrate.

However, in an unexpected turn reminiscent of Harlan Coben novels, it transpires that his ex-wife’s sister pays him an unexpected visit, seeming to possess proof that their shared son might still be alive.

Based on information from The Hollywood Reporter, author Harlan Coben revealed that he already envisioned adapting the book “I Will Find You” for the screen even before he had completed writing it. He found the storyline and themes so intriguing that he expressed his enthusiasm about it during an interview with the publication, stating, “I find this topic incredibly captivating to work on.
In my tales, I focus on the essence of optimism. To me, optimism serves as a powerful force, capable of lifting one’s spirit and allowing it to soar high. Optimism can also be a delicate balance, as fragile as an eggshell, capable of being shattered under immense pressure.
As an enthusiastic admirer, I’m thrilled to share that Sam Worthington, renowned for his roles in ‘Avatar’ and ‘Under the Banner of Heaven’, will take on the lead role as David Burroughs. The stellar cast also includes a host of familiar faces – Britt Lower from ‘Severance’, Erin Richards from ‘The Crown’, Milo Ventimiglia known for ‘This Is Us’, Logan Browning famous for ‘Dear White People’, and Jonathan Tucker, who has made an impact in ‘Westworld’. Can’t wait to see this exciting ensemble come together!

In a dramatic fashion, Worthington explained that his character is on a quest to uncover numerous realities. He further mentioned that, given the melodramatic nature of Harlan’s world, this journey would involve several unexpected turns before reaching its destination.
The talented showrunner and co-creator, Robert Hull, responsible for adapting the book that forms the basis of the series, has been equally impressed by the actors involved in the project, stating they are nothing less than extraordinary.
He noted, while speaking to Netflix’s Tudum, that any one of these exceptional artists would be a delight on their own. However, the fact that they have all been attracted to the project underscores the strength of Harlan’s storytelling and the substantial backing from Netflix. I am eagerly anticipating seeing them bring their roles to life.
I Will Find You is coming soon to Netflix, no release date has been confirmed yet.
