Ellen Degeneres and wife Portia de Rossi look happier than ever attending the event in Paris after celebrating their 17th wedding anniversary

As a dedicated admirer, I couldn’t help but feel elated seeing Ellen DeGeneres and her lovely partner Portia de Rossi at the Unveiling of RH Paris last Thursday. They were radiating an indescribable joy that made my fangirl heart skip a beat!

The comedy star, aged 67, and her actress spouse, 52 years old, exuded elegance while wearing matching black sweaters when they ventured outside together.

Ellen paired her knitted black jumper with white slim fit trousers and white lace-up trainers. 

In the meantime, Portia emerged wearing a sleek, black woolen blouse with a subtle transparency, paired with a coordinating midi skirt and practical black leather shoes.

The duo was spotted strolling together in Paris, sometimes pausing to sign memorabilia for eager admirers.

Last month, Ellen and Portia celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary. 

On Instagram, she celebrated the moment by sharing a delightful video from their wedding day. This video featured them overseeing the arrangements at home – from the arrival of pink blooms to setting out crystal and silverware in anticipation of numerous guests.

In 2024, the pair relocated to England and purchased a vast 43-acre property in the picturesque Cotswolds region for approximately twenty million dollars.

To have room for Portia’s horses, which they relocated from the U.S., they’re listing their property for $22.5 million.)

Ellen shared with the Wall Street Journal that when they decided to make this place their permanent residence, it was clear that Portia couldn’t do without her horses. So, we were on the lookout for a home equipped with a horse facility and enough pasture land for them.

As an utterly smitten admirer, I simply can’t contain my excitement about this extraordinary Oxfordshire retreat! Not only does it flaunt a delightful two-bedroom guesthouse, but also a stunning swimming pool, a state-of-the-art gym to keep fitness enthusiasts like myself in tip-top shape, and the pièce de résistance – a ‘party barn’ complete with its very own pub! Simply magnificent!

The pair worked on renovations for approximately four and a half months, yet resided there for roughly a month before relocating to a bigger house, as they were preparing for its sale.

This year, when asked if she would remain in the UK due to Donald Trump, Ellen responded: “Indeed. We had high hopes for [Democratic presidential nominee] Kamala [Harris]. To be honest, our hope was quite significant, and we decided that since things seemed favorable, it might be a good idea to secure a residence here.

Instead, she and Portia decided to establish their secondary residences in the Cotswolds, a beloved destination among affluent Londoners for additional properties.

Ellen mentioned that initially, they planned to spend around three to four months of the year here, but every time they visited, they found themselves falling in love with the place and appreciating its beauty.

Initially, we assumed that upon ending my show (the popular US talk show known as “Ellen”), this stunning location would be the perfect place for us to establish a farm and later return.

‘A day prior to the election, we arrived. Upon waking, our phones buzzed with messages from friends accompanied by sad emojis. Feeling the weight of Trump winning, we decided on the spot, ‘He won, so we’re staying put. No return, no departure.’

‘So we bought a house that we thought was going to be a part-time house.

After realizing we required a new home, we’ve since put our current house up for sale. If anyone is interested in purchasing a lovely home, this might be the one for you.

The old farmhouse is made of stone and it’s quite beautiful. By the way, I’m not offering the newer one for sale – I’m actually trying to sell the older stone farmhouse.

Discussing her initial experiences in Britain, DeGeneres reflected on what she found most enjoyable. Addressing her audience, she shared that the British people were particularly endearing to her and added that fish and chips were a delightful treat as well.

The United Kingdom holds an extraordinary, breathtaking charm that many Americans may not be accustomed to.

In both rural villages and urban towns, I find the architecture and homes enchanting. Everything around seems charming, and it’s evident that life here is more straightforward and uncomplicated.

This place is spotless. It’s extraordinary, really. From the care given to the animals to the courteousness of the people, there’s something truly endearing about it all. I absolutely adore it here.

Ellen is famously known for accumulating luxurious mansions, among which is a $24 million residence situated in Montecito, California – a place shared with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as well.

In the year 2023, she disclosed to a U.S.-based media outlet that she had transacted over fifty properties, among them a Malibu residence previously owned by Brad Pitt.

This year, news emerged that she decided to sell two houses in Montecito, which are believed to be some of her final properties in California.
