Robert Irwin puts on a brave face as he leaves Dancing With the Stars rehearsal on the anniversary of his father’s death

On Thursday, Robert Irwin marked a painful milestone, commemorating the anniversary of his father Steve’s passing, which occurred in the year 2006.

Despite appearing calm, the young star hid his emotions as he departed from the Dancing With The Stars US rehearsals in Los Angeles.

The young Wildlife Champion smiled and waved at the cameras while walking along, accompanied by his security team, after a tough day of rehearsals.

With an energetic air, Robert donned a casual blue T-shirt and comfortable grey joggers, shielding his eyes with stylish aviator glasses.

Ready for action, Robert dressed casually in a sporty blue T-shirt, grey joggers, and accessorized with aviator sunglasses that hid his eyes.

Both variations aim to maintain the original meaning while using more natural and conversational language.

He completed his look with white sneakers and slung a yoga mat and tote bag over one shoulder.

At one stage, he threw a thumbs-up to onlookers before being ushered away by his entourage.

He didn’t go on the outing accompanied by his dance partner Witney Carson, who shares a strong likeness with Robert’s former girlfriend, Rorie Buckey.

Since 2006, exactly eighteen years ago, the tragic incident occurred when Steve Irwin, affectionately known as the Crocodile Hunter, was pierced by a stingray’s barb during a filming venture on the Great Barrier Reef. This heart-wrenching event sent shockwaves around the globe and indelibly altered the lives of the Irwin family forever.

As a young boy of only two, Robert later developed a deep passion for conservation and television work, much like his father.

His mother Terri and sister Bindi have also continued Steve’s work expanding Australia Zoo.

On Thursday, Robert paid tribute to Steve’s memory on Instagram, posting a poignant message along with an old photograph of him and his father playing with a lizard when he was a child. This heartfelt gesture occurred later in the day.

He labeled the picture with ‘You constantly inspire me’, which sparked numerous touching responses from his supporters.

‘A great man. So glad you are continuing his legacy!’ one user wrote.

‘Awww my heart!!! He’s so proud of you,’ another added.

As I eagerly anticipate my upcoming performance on Dancing with the Stars US, I’m putting in long hours to keep pace with fellow contestants like Hilaria Baldwin, Corey Feldman, and Alix Earle. I can’t wait to hit the dance floor!

In April, it became known that he had been part of the series, after his captivating advertising campaign for Bonds in America.

The popular Australian television personality was indeed reported by Variety to join the show, and he seemed upbeat upon his arrival in Los Angeles before the shooting commenced.

10 years have passed since Bindi, Robert’s sister, won the competitive dancing series back in 2015, dancing with her partner Derek Hough. Now, it’s Robert who is taking to the stage.
