The sequel to the Disney+ series “WandaVision,” set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will indeed incorporate a character linked to Daredevil. Marvel Studios kick-started Phase 4 and the Multiverse Saga with “WandaVision,” which continues to be one of the most cherished projects following Avengers: Endgame. The Disney+ sitcom has already had two follow-ups, with Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff utilizing the Darkhold in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness embarking on her own enchanting journey in Agatha All Along.
Following this, the 2026 sequel to “WandaVision,” titled “Vision Quest,” will bring back Paul Bettany’s White Vision. Filming for the series has already been completed. In “Vision Quest,” we find a newly SWORD-forged White Vision striving to regain his memories and humanity. Although the exact plot of “Vision Quest” remains a mystery, it is rumored that it will maintain a connection to “WandaVision.” Actor Ruaridh Mollica is speculated to play Tommy Maximoff in this series, following Joe Locke’s debut as Billy in “Agatha All Along.
The actor Todd Stashwick from Star Trek: Picard has been confirmed to join the cast of Disney+’s Vision Quest as Paladin, a character who was previously a mercenary and private investigator. Paladin will be hunting down the Avenging synthetic being for his technology. Paladin is set to make his first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Vision’s initial adversary, although he originally appeared in Daredevil #150 back in 1978.

The mysterious figure, known simply as Paladin, initially crossed paths with Daredevil during a mission to locate the Purple Man. Throughout various tasks, Paladin has both fought alongside and opposed several heroes such as Daredevil, Spider-Man, and Wasp. He’s also been part of teams like the Thunderbolts and Heroes for Hire.
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), it’s possible that Paladin’s past interactions with various heroes, including Daredevil, might not be highlighted in the movie “Vision Quest”. Given his profession as a mercenary, such connections may not necessarily feature prominently in the storyline. However, this does not mean that their history together doesn’t exist within the MCU context; it simply might not be explored or showcased in the mentioned film.
In the upcoming “Shadowland” storyline, as depicted in Season 2 of “Born Again,” Paladin might make an appearance in not one but two Disney+ shows next year. Assuming his Vision Quest pans out in 2026, there’s a strong chance we’ll see him reappear in future films or series.
Although Daredevil himself (Matt Murdock) may not yet have official MCU appearances past “Born Again” Season 2, certain Daredevil-linked characters are set to reappear in other projects, such as the anticipated “Avengers: Doomsday” slated for 2026.
Ramrod
As an ardent fan, I’m thrilled to share that it’s not just Paladin who’s gearing up for a shocking 2026 project. Reports hint at the appearance of the cyborg Ramrod in the anticipated film, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”. This intriguing development could potentially unveil the movie’s hidden antagonist, fueling an exciting new theory!
The possibility of Ramrod appearing in “Spider-Man 4” is currently only a rumor, and no official casting has been announced. If it happens, it would be his first live-action role after his initial introduction in the 1973 edition of “Daredevil” #103. Prior to transforming into a cyborg, Ramrod was a construction site boss whose character name wasn’t disclosed, and he suffered an injury at work.
Punisher
Frank Castle, also known as The Punisher, has his own unique take on the anti-hero role, but he’s been getting more connected to Charlie Cox’s Daredevil. The hardened vigilante who takes down criminals by force, portrayed by Jon Bernthal, first entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Daredevil Season 2 and will reappear soon for the second season of Born Again.
As a die-hard Marvel fan, I can’t help but get excited about the future! It seems Marvel Studios has some big plans for Jon Bernthal, as not only is he set to reappear in “Born Again,” but next year, he’ll star in a significant role in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.” On top of that, he’s even got his own Disney+ Special Presentation coming up. This Marvel Universe just keeps getting better and better!
Spider-ManÂ
It appears that the anticipated crossover between Spider-Man and Daredevil, titled “Brand New Day,” might not deliver the team-up fans were eagerly expecting. For now, it seems we’ll have to wait a few more years for these superheroes to join forces on the screen. However, in the movie “No Way Home,” their ordinary counterparts – Matt Murdock (Daredevil) and Peter Parker (Spider-Man) – did share some professional history as Matt served as Peter’s lawyer.
It’s tricky to pinpoint for certain how Murdock recalls that encounter, given that Doctor Strange erased Parker’s memory from existence in the movie “No Way Home“. However, with an array of characters associated with Daredevil appearing in “Brand New Day“, it seems possible that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is laying the groundwork for another crossover, possibly pitting these characters against Kingpin, in “Spider-Man 5“.
She-Hulk
In the series “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters seems to have come the closest to sharing a relationship with Daredevil, portrayed by Charlie Cox, among all the other characters. Their connection extended beyond professional partnership, as they worked together on the streets and even developed a romantic aspect. According to Charlie Cox, there might be potential for this relationship to rekindle in the future.
In the upcoming movie “Avengers: Doomsday,” Daredevil won’t make an appearance, but instead, She-Hulk is likely to join Sam Wilson’s team of Avengers. Although it’s disappointing that Matt Murdock will miss out on this massive interdimensional event, She-Hulk’s addition to the team could pave the way for future collaborations with other heroes involving Daredevil.
BONUS.) Daredevil
It’s possible that Daredevil, portrayed by Charlie Cox, could return before the second season of “Born Again.” Previously appearing in “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man,” a series set in a universe resembling the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), it looks like Daredevil is set to return for its second season next year.
In the next season, it’s likely that Daredevil will resume his investigation against Norman Osborn, who turned increasingly villainous by the finale of Season 1. This could potentially result in collaborations between street-level superheroes in upcoming episodes, a team-up that fans have been eagerly anticipating for quite some time.
