The game titled “eFootball” in 2026 is stirring up some unexpected changes with its new features, and there’s fresh news about these updates, specifically in September 2025. Although the Epic packs haven’t been particularly thrilling due to their re-releases, the emerging Link-Up play seems poised to become the game’s latest trend.

European Club Championship Campaign

This month, I’m super excited about the European Club Championship Campaign that’s happening from September 4 to September 18, 2025! This event is jam-packed with objectives, events, and rewards that will even give me 50 coins just for logging in every day!

The Campaign Center serves as the primary location where you can make progress by engaging in Player vs Player or AI battles to collect rewards. Reaching the milestone of advancing 20 levels will reward you with Position and Skill Tokens, 50 eFootball Coins, 42,000 Experience Points, and an impressive 750,000 GP.

Logging in every day during the campaign multiplies your rewards, offering extra Tokens, as well as 60,000 Experience Points (Exp) and 100,000 Gold Pieces (GP). The Campaign Objectives will become active on September 11th, introducing new challenges that award Advanced Skill Tokens, GP, and Exp as rewards.

New Manager: Fabio Capello

In the new eFootball 2026 era, Fabio Capello is now up for grabs as the first manager, priced at 750 coins. This offering features Capello in his 91-92 version and includes an Over-the-Top Pass A Link-Up Play as a new feature.

This version attempts to maintain the original meaning while using more natural and conversational language to make it easier for readers to understand.

In this scenario, when the Centerpiece has the ball in a defensive position, the Key Man can advance forcefully, thanks to the style that facilitates precise passes such as through balls and chipped passes from the Centerpiece to the Key Man, enhancing their passing and control skills.

As a die-hard fan, I’d say this strategy seems tailor-made for swift counter-attacks that really capitalize on long passes. It looks like the fresh approach in the game to me, and the arrival of these tools certainly echoes “fresh approach”. He’s undeniably skilled in Long Ball Counters and regular Long Balls, so get ready because those high, lofted through balls are about to shine!

New Epic and Show Time Cards

This update showcases new star cards, including the Over-the-Top Pass A pack. Notable figures like Marco van Basten and Frank Rijkaard are introduced as 101-rated Epic cards, showcasing exceptional skills such as extraordinary finishing and momentum dribbling for Van Basten, and fortress defense and visionary passing for Rijkaard.

For our Show Time selections, we’ve chosen Lautaro Martinez and Nicolo Barella. Both of them are standout choices for this group, with Martinez showcasing exceptional finishing abilities and Blitz Curl skills.
