ITV recently unveiled a fresh batch of pictures for the upcoming season of their 1980s-based British comedy series, titled “Changing Ends.
This fall returns for its third season, “Alan Carr’s” semi-autobiographical comedy series features a young Alan (portrayed by Oliver Savell), growing up in the town of Northampton.
In the sweltering heat of the year 1989’s summer, the third season unfolds with Alan being a teenager, trying to find his way through adolescence, as he becomes smitten by a fresh crush.

For the third season, along with Savell, we have Shaun Dooley, Nancy Sullivan, Taylor Fay, Gabby Best, Harry Peacock, Rourke Mooney, Colin Salmon, Dotty Davies, and Carr reprising their roles once more.
In the recently published photos, Carr and Savell are spotted seated together, seemingly at a school gathering or event. Additionally, the images include Dooley and Sullivan who are identified as Carr’s parents, while Salmon is depicted as ‘Ron’.

Alan moves into a fresh phase of his life as a fully-grown teenager, which brings him new challenges as he navigates his world and develops strong feelings towards Jake, his newest crush. Meanwhile, Graham deals with the pressure from supporters as the Cobblers experience a slump in division three.
Is Alan’s affection hidden or openly declared? Regardless, it promises to be challenging for him as he faces the complexities of teenage life, including sleepovers, swimming classes, and social events with both male and female friends. It’s going to be a tough journey for him.

However, there’s also a silver lining since some unexpected friends offer Alan a reassuring peek into a promising tomorrow, and surprisingly, they aren’t far from his front steps.
Audience reviews on IMDb have praised the show, which has a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Changing Ends evokes a sense of nostalgia by harkening back to a period when humor truly was amusing in every aspect.
The viewer commented that the show is delightful, intriguing, evoking a sense of nostalgia, featuring well-known British actors. It’s highly bingeable and, in their opinion, the top series they’ve watched so far this year. They can’t wait for more episodes to be released!
The new series of Changing Ends airs this Autumn on ITVX, ITV1 and STV.
