Hugh Bonneville makes a rare appearance with glamorous new girlfriend Heidi Kadlecova at the Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale premiere in London

Hugh Bonneville, who doesn’t often make appearances in public, was spotted with his latest companion, Heidi Kadlecova, at the premiere of Downton Abbey’s grand finale on a Wednesday evening.

At the glamorous red carpet event at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London, the well-known British actor, aged 61, appeared remarkably joyful while he affectionately posed with the vegan influencer.

I presented quite the polished image, donning a sleek black tuxedo accompanied by a pristine white shirt and black bow tie, as a devoted follower of fashionable attire.

While Heidi collaborated with the Paddington star, she donned a stunning black and nude dress that accentuated her fabulous silhouette beautifully.

She drew attention in her Art Deco-style, short-sleeved dress, paired with tall heels and a large, glittering bracelet.

In October 2024, the couple publicly declared their relationship, and at the global debut of his newest movie, they appeared deeply affectionate while striking poses for photographs together.

It comes after Hugh split from his wife of 25 years Lulu Williams in September last year.

It’s reported that the actor, who became extremely famous for his role as the Earl of Grantham in the ITV series Downton Abbey, spent some time on several outings with the Canadian actress, Claire Rankin (aged 53), during March.

Afterward, he started a relationship with Heidi and it seems he has changed into a different individual when he’s with her.

TopMob recently revealed he had introduced her to the cast and crew on his new movie.

It’s reported that he invited Heidi to join him while filming the last scenes of Go Away!, which took place in Hertfordshire.

According to a source, TopMob learned that the veteran star seemed more lively around the vegan influencer, and their interactions noticeably improved his mood. This led some observers to remark that they appeared like two affectionate birds, or lovebirds.

Plus, locals spotted the pair cuddling during breaks from filming scenes next to a church.

A source said: ‘Hugh and Heidi seemed really loved up and excited to be in each other’s company.’

Her presence on the set transformed him noticeably. When she was around, he exhibited a distinctly more energetic demeanor on the set compared to other times.

They noted that she observed him filming various scenes, and during breaks, they would often leave together for some private time.

However, he presented her to everyone involved in the project, and they appeared to be an incredibly affectionate duo, almost like two smitten doves.

As a devoted admirer, I too had the privilege of witnessing him film scenes for the upcoming Downton Abbey movie on Netflix, which we eagerly anticipate. Later, I was spotted making my way to a wrap party in Kings Cross, signifying the conclusion of filming – our third encounter captured by the cameras together.

TopMob has contacted Hugh’s representatives for comment.

On her social media platforms, the former philanthropist portrays herself as an “explorer of the world” and a dedicated “supporter of animal welfare.

Her Instagram bio reads ‘Live life ethically, with kindness and compassion always’.

Heidi frequently brings along her young daughter, Gabriella, during her travels; for instance, they visited the Mount Everest base camp together in 2019.

Gabriella’s father, Richard Coglon, was formerly her spouse, during their residence in Vancouver.

Heidi has previously worked for non-governmental organisations in Uganda, Indonesia and Nepal.

On July 8, during the premiere of the movie Twisters, a vegan activist and Hugh were first photographed side by side for the first time.

On Instagram last night, Heidi posted: ‘What an entertaining evening, and you were simply fantastic in that movie!’

Two weeks subsequent, Heidi and Hugh simultaneously shared identical pictures during the premiere of Fangirls, a novel musical, at Lyric Theatre, located in West London’s Hammersmith region.

Paddington star Hugh split from wife of 25 years Lulu Williams in September last year.

They have a common son named Felix, who is twenty years old, and they reside jointly in West Sussex, however, they have not finalized their divorce proceedings as of now.

In September 2023, a representative for Hugh made an announcement confirming that he and his longtime partner Lulu, with whom he resided in West Sussex for 25 years, had legally separated.

It appears the separation hasn’t gone smoothly, as indicated by a source stating: “It’s evident that Lulu perceives two decades of marriage as though it holds no value.

Lulu frequently joined her spouse at movie premiers and filming locations. However, her recent absence stirred whispers that there might be issues between them in their relationship.

The renowned actor, best known for portraying Robert Crawley, Earl of Grantham, has consistently shown his affection for Lulu. He has referred to her as his “foundational support” and “steadying influence,” acknowledging that she provides the strength that upholds their home.

According to a source, Hugh has been out of the house frequently for filming this year. This summer, he appears to have shed some pounds, giving him a leaner, sun-kissed, and relaxed look.

Five years following their vow renewal at the Graceland chapel in Las Vegas, they experienced a painful separation.
