The allocation of spots for the imminent Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) M7 World Championship has been revealed. This forthcoming tournament is packed with numerous modifications, such as the comeback of the Japanese region and the provision of two wild card opportunities rather than one.
It comes as a surprise that the North America (NA) region will not be part of the upcoming international event, having been involved since the M1 World Championship. Although this may disappoint fans from the NA region, it presents an opportunity for new teams to participate in the international competition.
M7 World Championship slot allocation announced
The M7 World Championship serves as the grand finale for mobile legends: Bang Bang esports, featuring top teams from diverse regions battling it out on a major stage to claim the coveted world championship title. A total of 22 elite teams will face off, vying for a prize pool worth $1 million. The M7 World Championship is divided into two distinct stages.
Wild Card Stage
In the initial phase, known as the Wild Card round, eight different regions vie for a place in the primary tournament. Two contestants from this round successfully secure their spot for the global competition.

- EECA (Eastern Europe and Central Asia)
- MENA (Middle East and North America)

In summary for the Main Event, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia secure two spots each, implying that two teams from these regions will participate. The remaining regions will have only one team represented at the M7 World Championship.

Interestingly, MOONTON Games has decided to shift the event to the following year as 2025 is already full of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports events.
Every year, December was traditionally the month for M-series events. However, since the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games 2025 will occur from December 9 to 20, 2025, the M7 World Championship has been rescheduled to early 2026 to prevent scheduling conflicts with this multi-sport event.
