The 2025 IGG World Championship wrapped up in Incheon with a massive $400K prize pool

As a gaming enthusiast, I just wrapped up the thrilling 2025 IGG World Championship held in Incheon over three action-packed days! This event was packed with rewards, engaging activities, and a bunch of unexpected twists. The tournament was all about showcasing three amazing games from IGG: Viking Rise on the 29th of August, Lords Mobile on the 30th, and Doomsday: Last Survivors on the 31st. It was an unforgettable gaming adventure!

The Championship boasted a grand prize purse surpassing $400,000, which encompassed cash awards, virtual game items, and tangible merchandise. Essentially, it was an enormous festivity honoring the three showcased games and their dedicated fan bases.

Unsurprisingly, IGG’s biggest world championship event of the year took place. Players hailing from various parts of the world participated in this event, engaging in three of IGG’s games across multiple modes. Here’s a brief rundown of what transpired in each game.

This version aims to be more conversational and easier for readers to understand.

Lords Mobile event (30th August)

Thirty-six participants from sixteen different countries and regions took part in the Lords Mobile event, organized into twelve teams. Team T4K was crowned champions as they managed to keep control of an important in-game structure for the longest period. Besides T4K, Pv3 and MrJ were also among the winners.

At this event, there was an introduction of a new format called “Invitational Solo Match”. Here, 18 South Korean players engaged in individual, 15-minute duels, with the objective of capturing a crucial in-game structure that houses a key.

Viking Rise event (29th August)

At the Viking Rise event, there were eight top-tier squads, each consisting of 24 players in total. This was the very first offline competition organized for Viking Rise, centered around the Sacred Crucible gaming mode.

I recently found myself immersed in the epic clash of the Sacred Crucible, where we ventured into the lofty Divine Realm. Here, we battled fearsome monsters and formidable rival factions. Team r350 emerged victorious, their exceptional gameplay and masterfully crafted strategies earning them the crown. They brought the competition to a breath-taking finish, leaving us all on the edge of our seats.

Doomsday: Last Survivors event (31st August)

On the last day, a total of 32 top-tier players from four premier teams participated in the Doomsday: Last Survivors tournament. For this special occasion, a unique “Off-Limits War” mode was designed specifically for the championship. In this mode, four teams engaged in intense battles during matches that lasted approximately 35 minutes each.

The teams excelled throughout the competition, each earning the title of Champions. In the grand finale, the medal ceremonies aligned flawlessly under the spotlight, forming a stunning spectacle that revealed an exclusive code for the World Championship as a unique trophy!

As a special, unexpected treat for players worldwide, whether they play online or offline, this voucher code has been provided.

This voucher code is a surprise gift given to all players, no matter if they play games online or offline, across the globe.

The 2025 IGG World Championship was an impressive spectacle, showcasing the might of the participating games and their dedicated communities. It wasn’t just about competition; there were also creative stage setups, fan zones offering freebies, cosplay and character displays, and a unique “Zombie Outbreak” experience from DLS where participants had real-life encounters with zombies.

Sure thing!

Although they weren’t actual events (can you imagine the legal troubles!), IGG collaborated with numerous sponsors in various industries such as gaming, technology, lifestyle, and entertainment to ensure that this gathering surpassed all previous versions in terms of scale and quality for both competitors, spectators on-site, and online viewers. This made it an unforgettable experience, and we’re eagerly awaiting the chance to recreate something similar soon!
