Lauryn Goodman recently spoke up about not receiving an invitation to her sister Chloe’s wedding, following a heated family dispute that ensued after the Kyle Walker paternity scandal.
34-year-old influencer Lauryn shares a family life with footballer Kyle, who is the father of their two children – Kairo, aged five, and Kinara, aged two. Kyle had both children during his relationship with wife Annie Kilner, which was marked by periods of separation.
In early 2024, it’s said that Lauryn had a falling-out with her sisters Chloe and Amelia, presumably due to the turmoil caused by the Kyle paternity scandal in the media.
In simpler terms, both Lauryn and the original bride, Chloe, removed each other as followers on Instagram. Moreover, due to some unknown reasons, Lauryn was subsequently not included in Chloe’s wedding party to her partner, Grant Hall, which was held in Algarve.
In a conversation with Closer magazine, she has finally spoken up about the aftermath and what lies ahead for their sibling bond.
She expressed that it’s been a tough period for her, as she and her sisters had always been very close. She’s really felt their absence because they were like her foundation, providing her with emotional support. Without them, she’s found herself feeling quite isolated.
As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but feel the sting of missing Chloe’s wedding – a momentous occasion that feels like a piece of my heart is missing. Alas, we can never reclaim that cherished memory, and it’s clear that many hearts were left heavy that day. My spirit was saddened knowing that something seemingly unrelated to our close-knit family had grown into such a significant wedge between us.
She mentioned that the strained feelings have lessened, and they’re currently working towards restoring their bond as sisters.
Chloe stated, “I think it’s possible for us to mend our relationship with time. Although it’s still tender, we’ve made some advancements. We’re not back to square one, but we’re in a more favorable situation compared to where we were earlier.
She added that their children still spend time together so that they remain unaffected.

The mom spent much of the past week attempting to bring the sisters back together, yet Chloe remained steadfast. This period was filled with tension for the whole family.
In the course of the conversation, she shared that she’s receptive to the idea of encountering a new person and embracing romance once more in her life.
Subsequently, making a subtle jibe towards Kyle, she expressed a desire for her children to benefit from a stable, long-term male role model.
Previously, Lauryn spoke about wanting another child, expressing that she isn’t quite ready to move past the newborn phase. Notably, she’s currently unattached in her personal life.
In the year 2019, Lauryn became pregnant with her son Kairo, a development that occurred while Kyle was taking a brief hiatus from his relationship with Annie. As a result, Kyle and Annie momentarily separated due to these circumstances.
Instead, they reunited as teenage sweethearts not long after, deciding on a secret wedding in 2022.
However, during that winter, Lauryn got pregnant with Kyle’s child again, following a short-lived relationship with him. By the next summer, their daughter Kinara had been born.

At the Mariposa Ball held in London this past summer, Lauryn expressed her aspirations of growing her family, despite the challenges posed by endometriosis on her fertility.
She mentioned that Kinara continues to offer plenty of snuggles, yet she yearns for the tender baby hugs and the aroma of a fresh newborn.
Right now, she’s still getting breast milk from me, mostly during evenings. It feels like our breastfeeding journey might be nearing its conclusion soon. I find myself holding off weaning because I’m not emotionally prepared to part ways with this special bond.
In a similar vein, she briefly discussed her current romantic situation – implying that her children demand all of her attention and time, leaving her with none for other activities.
Previously, she shared that she felt elated about expecting another child, as she was diagnosed with both endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) eight years ago and informed that IVF would be necessary for her to conceive.
