Doting dad Calvin Harris shares snap holding his newborn son Micah as he promotes new music while wife Vick Hope gushes over her boys

Calvin Harris couldn’t help but smile as he posted a heartwarming photo of his newly born son, Micah, while hinting at some upcoming music on Tuesday.

In a simple and conversational style: The 41-year-old Scottish disc jockey and music producer was seen embracing fatherhood, spending cherished moments with his young child, radiating warmth and affection.

In an Instagram post, it was evident that Calvin was cradling Micah against his torso as he struck a pose in front of a reflective surface for a photo.

Calvin carried a relaxed appearance, dressed simply in a white short-sleeved shirt and black pants, with his son comfortably perched upon him.

Additionally, he shared with his followers that he plans to debut a fresh collaboration track with Canadian artist Jessie Reyez this coming Friday.

Last month, the couple delightfully shared on their social media that baby Micah had been born on the 20th of July.

35-year-old Vick chose a home water birth on their Ibiza property, traveling there following the start of her maternity leave.

Calvin posted an honest photo of his wife relaxing in the birthing tub, as well as a heartwarming image of him holding Micah just after the birth.

On the 20th of July, our little one made his debut into the world. Meet Micah! My incredible partner continues to astonish me with her heroic strength and profound insight. I’m truly in awe. Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude, dear Micah. We love you more than words can express.

In simpler terms, he added a picture of Vick’s placenta, which was subsequently transformed into pills after being dried, ground into powder, and placed in capsules.

This practice, called placentophagy, is believed by some to offer postpartum benefits. 

Many individuals hold the belief that consuming the placenta can help alleviate postpartum depression, expedite healing from childbirth bleeding, maintain hormonal balance in the body, boost mood and energy levels, enhance milk production, and supply essential nutrients like iron. However, scientific research does not currently support the idea that eating the placenta offers any health benefits.
