Chase Chrisley accuses sister Savannah of driving ‘wedge’ between him and younger brother Grayson as sibling rift is cracked open

A rift has erupted amongst brothers Chase and Grayson Chrisley.

In the most recent installment of “The Chrisleys: Back to Reality”, the siblings disclosed the extent of their strained bond, as they chose not to participate in a scene where they would have reunited while playing golf.

As per Chase, it’s possible that Savannah, aged 28, is responsible for the fracture, though her older brother, Grayson, alleges that she hasn’t been helping out with the family responsibilities while their parents are in prison.

During the most recent episode, it was revealed early on that Grayson, aged 19, confessed to noticing parallels between his own relationship with Chase, who is 29, and the dynamic shared by Todd Chrisley and his brother Randy in their father-brother relationship.

Grayson mentioned that he notices similarities between him and Chase, and those same similarities were present between him and his father, as well as his uncle.

As an ardent fan, I’ve got to admit, our interactions with him are limited due to the fact that my father often had to step in to sort out his predicaments. Over the years, I’ve made countless attempts to assist him, and it’s no secret that we share similar sentiments about Chase – you can’t aid someone who isn’t willing to help themselves. To put it mildly, he seems to exist in a world of his own. On one occasion during the show, I even described my brother as such – living in his own realm.

Chase, meanwhile, attributed the tension between them to his sister Savannah.

Chase expressed that he doesn’t have the opportunity to spend time with Grayson as much as he’d prefer, and it seems like Savannah has somehow created a bit of distance between them. (Chase spoke this in a private conversation.)

He mentioned that he’s excited primarily to play some golf, enjoy himself, catch up on college talk and check in about his well-being, and we’ll just have to wait and see how things unfold.

During their game of golf, the brothers openly discussed an uneasy family meal they had recently shared, with Grayson advising his sibling to consider attending therapy for personal growth.

‘I want to be able to go to a family dinner -and it not be awkward,’ Chase said.

Grayson stated, “Improving yourself is where it all begins, a change that benefits not only others but also yourself. Initially, I was hesitant about seeking therapy, but…

But Chase was resistant to counseling: ‘Grayson, you know how I feel about that.’

‘Chase, I didn’t want to do it either. Until I realized it helps,’ his brother replied.

Chase elaborated, stating he doesn’t have aversion towards therapy but believes it might not suit him, as he thinks it may benefit others instead.

Grayson then voiced his disapproval towards his brother, claiming he hadn’t taken on enough responsibilities within the family during their parents’ imprisonment. This imprisonment came after Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley were found guilty of masterminding a $30 million bank fraud and tax evasion case. However, they have since been freed following a pardon from President Trump.

Grayson mentioned that for approximately two and a half years, he had the routine of dropping off and picking up Chloe from school daily, then continued with his own schoolwork, and also enjoyed playing ball together.

Whenever I text or call Savannah, she doesn’t usually respond half the time,” Chase said.

“Texting or calling Savannah, I often don’t receive a response about half the time,” Chase commented.

And Chase insisted he wasn’t the ‘monster’ his sister had been making him out to be.

Chase emphasized that Savannah is portraying him as an uncaring, monstrous figure who neglects his family, but he assures everyone this isn’t true. He values his family deeply and wishes for a strong, harmonious familial bond instead.

Grayson expressed his disappointment by saying, “Once upon a time, he promised to cook dinner for us but failed to show up – no text, no call. It was when we needed him the most, yet he didn’t come through. Instead of enjoying my high school years, I had to help raise a ten-year-old while simultaneously taking care of myself.

Besides claiming that his brother seemed more interested in the attention from the cameras, Grayson suggested that his brother might have been driven to reconcile for reasons other than an authentic desire to mend their relationship.

As an ardent fan, I can’t help but share my thoughts about a certain situation. What wasn’t explicitly mentioned is that he apparently reached out and made it appear as if it was a heartfelt gesture to revive our relationship. But here’s the kicker, he said, “You know, we just really need to get along better for the show.” It seems like every move he makes is for the cameras. That’s what Grayson claimed, anyway.

However, Chase suggests that his brother is being swayed by their sister, implying that he believes his brother will say things that please or conform to his sister’s desires, as expressed in a conversation: “He’ll be under Savannah’s influence; he’ll say what she wants him to say,” he explained during his confessional.

By the finale, neither Grayson nor Chase had found a solution, leading them to enlist the help of the show’s producer to cut the scene short and put an end to their disagreement.

Chase seemed to communicate to the producer that he might become angered and depart soon, as a heads-up. Essentially, he was expressing that he had had enough.

Grayson expressed his frustration to the team, saying, “We seem stuck in our current situation. As I mentioned earlier, exactly this is what I predicted would happen, and it happened right when I said it would.

Chase admitted he wouldn’t have ‘a family’ if his parents were to pass.

In simpler terms, he said, “Life is short and unpredictable. If my parents were to pass away today, the three of us would be all that’s left of our family. That thought suggests I wouldn’t have a family anymore.
