In the days following Anne Hathaway’s highly publicized fall on set, she has once again become embroiled in another dramatic event.
Over the weekend, the 42-year-old Academy Award winner stepped in to mediate a dispute between two feuding photographers while filming The Devil Wears Prada 2 in New York City.
The viral video on social media features Anne reminding people with a serious tone, “Please, let’s all calm down. Everyone should take it easy. We have kids present on the set today, don’t forget that.
Let’s unwind today since the little ones are with us, ensuring it’ll be a lovely day for all! Thanks for joining in.
After completing the exchange, Anne beamed with a smile, then spun around to record further footage, confident that she had taken every necessary step to ensure the safety of the young artists on set.

Recently, Anne experienced a moment of alarm when she stumbled and fell off the front steps of a building in New York City on a Wednesday. As she landed, her left leg twisted unnaturally.
Following the event becoming widely known, she demonstrated her distinctive wit following a remarkable fall during filming of the much-anticipated sequel, choosing to share a humorous response instead.
Initially, spectators were unsure whether the incident was intentionally planned or an actual accident, but Hathaway appeared to clarify it was the latter by posting about it on Instagram the following day. She accompanied her post with an old video of another well-known blunder.
In the movie The Princess Diaries from 2001, she was depicted tumbling off the tall gymnasium seats.
The unscripted tumble wasn’t merely a staged event; rather, director Garry Marshall found it so captivating that he decided to include it in the film itself.
Twenty years on, Hathaway demonstrated her ability to tumble gracefully and find humor in every situation, just like the best.
Additionally, the renowned figure mused about her misstep in The Princess Diaries when she paid homage to the late director Marshall, who tragically passed away in 2016 at the age of 81, during a 2020 event.
Hathaway shared that Marshall frequently incorporated spontaneous or unexpected scenes in his movies, reminiscing about an impromptu moment with Heather Matarazzo from The Princess Diaries making its way into the film’s promotional trailer.

From my fervent perspective as a die-hard fan, I found myself breathlessly watching the action unfold on the very bleachers of a San Francisco university’s sports ground, where the air was thick with anticipation. Alas, the heavens had decided to play their part, causing rain delays that threatened to disrupt our cinematic symphony. Yet, undaunted by the encroaching twilight, the dedicated crew sprang into action, striving tirelessly against time to complete their masterpiece before the last rays of sunlight vanished beyond the horizon.
Marshall told Hathaway and Matarazzo to position themselves at various tiers of the stands and move past one another as they spoke their dialogues.
According to Hathaway’s recollection, it seems that Heather appeared to be full of vigor, causing her to move more swiftly than I anticipated.
Recognizing our paths would converge, I swiftly tried to move aside, but ended up slipping on a puddle instead. To put it simply, I stumbled and lost my footing. But the absurdity of the situation struck me so hard that I couldn’t help but laugh heartily and continued with what we were doing.
Hathaway mentioned, “I hadn’t given it another thought, then suddenly, around about six months later, it appeared in the preview.
‘He kept it. He kept it because it was a charming moment,’ she explained.
Meanwhile, Hathaway isn’t the only familiar face returning to the Devil Wears Prada universe.
Actors Meryl Streep, Stanley Tucci, and Emily Blunt have all been seen shooting movie sequences in New York, recalling the enchantment that captivated viewers in the initial film.

New additions to the cast are also turning heads.
In the new production, Kenneth Branagh takes on the role of Miranda’s new spouse, whereas the charming Australian actor Patrick Brammall is set to portray Andy’s newest love interest.
Last week, Hathaway and Brammall were seen capturing some charming scenes while walking along the bustling streets of Brooklyn as the sun began to dip in the horizon.
In this scene, the actor wrapped his arms around the woman in a hug, all happening outside a restaurant, with both of them still standing.
Hathaway also flashed a big smile on her face as Brammall twirled her around in circles.
In the 2006 film, Adrian Grenier portrayed Nate, the character’s boyfriend. However, it’s worth noting that he won’t be reprising his role in the sequel.

Grenier’s character has since sparked debate among fans, with some criticizing him for perceived lack of support during his partner’s journalism career.
Previously, the actor from Entourage shared insights about his character’s part in the initial film during an interview with Entertainment Weekly, back in 2021.
Initially, I missed some subtle aspects and complex meanings portrayed by this character in the movie, which only became evident when the public’s collective opinion began to criticize the character and condemn them harshly. As a result, I faced negative feedback.
He mentioned that the memes created were surprising to him, as viewers labeled Nate as the “villain” in the movie.
Reflecting on this now, I realize it didn’t cross my mind before due to my immaturity back then – mirroring Nate’s state at the time. To be frank, he can be quite self-centered and focused on himself.
Adrian went on to say that it was largely focused on him, as he wasn’t making an effort to help Andy advance in her career.
Timothée Chalamet’s sister Pauline, along with BJ Novak from “The Office,” and internet sensation Amelia Dimoldenberg (known for her show “Chicken Shop Date”) have also been spotted on the filming location.
David Frankel, the original director of the 2006 film, is also set to direct the sequel.
The movie ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ was highly praised by critics and grossed approximately $326.7 million at the box office, while its production cost ranged between $35 million and $41 million.
The film additionally received recognition in the form of two Academy Award nominations, one being Best Actress for Meryl Streep. It also gained five British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) and three Golden Globe Awards. Notably, Meryl Streep won for her role as Best Actress in a Musical or Comedic Motion Picture at the Golden Globes.
The sequel novel “Revenge Wears Prada,” written by Lauren Weisberger, presents a distinct narrative compared to what’s expected in the forthcoming movie adaptation.
The movie depicts Miranda adapting to the evolving landscape of the fashion industry known as Runway, where traditional print media is being replaced by the digital era.
