Amanda Seyfried suffered a tumble as she took to the red carpet for the Venice Film Festival.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I had the privilege of gracing the red carpet at the premiere of my latest project, “The Testament of Ann Lee.” At 39, it’s always an exhilarating experience to share the spotlight with fellow artists and industry peers, creating unforgettable memories together.
Amanda oozed glamour as she stepped onto the carpet in a strapless satin navy and red gown.
Her ornate blouse-style dress hid a stunning red liner within, revealed as she ascended stairs, and it also boasted a red ribbon adorning its neckline.
However, the actress found herself blushing awkwardly when she nearly lost her balance during photo opportunities with her fellow actors, requiring assistance from one of them to prevent falling backward. After regaining her footing, she shared a laugh with Viola Prettejohn about the incident.
Elsewhere Amanda put on animated display as she had fun with photographers during the premiere.

Back in the early part of this year, Amanda disclosed that she had her heart set on a particular role, and she auditioned for it an impressive total of six times.
In the “In the Envelope” podcast hosted by Backstage, she shared that she auditioned for the role of Elphaba in the musical “Wicked” more than once.
She mentioned that she finds herself in a fortunate position, exempt from the need to audition. However, she emphasized her past experiences, having auditioned for Wicked on six different occasions.
‘Because that had to be really just right,’ the Mean Girls star said. ‘And I like, I loved it.’
I was thrilled to share about my Wicked audition experience from March on the Happy Sad Confused podcast recently, being a devoted fan myself.
She stated that she had thoroughly prepared for the audition, and she emphasized that she had never felt as confident and steady in her voice as she did during that particular audition.
‘And that’s kind of what I got out of it,’ Amanda told host Josh Horowitz.
She went on to say that she still believes there’s a purpose behind every event, and it just so happened that she had the opportunity to sing alongside Cynthia, which was an extraordinary moment.

In November, during an interview with The New York Times, Cynthia Erivo expressed that it came as no shock to her when she found out Ariana Grande, aged 31 at the time, secured the part of Glinda.
Ariana reminisced, saying, “At the moment, I exclaimed, ‘Thank heavens!'” And Cynthia chimed in, “Indeed, I breathed a sigh of relief, as it wasn’t the two women I was interviewing.
Although Cynthia didn’t mention who else she auditioned with, it’s known that Amanda contended for the role of Glinda in 2022, without specifying whether she auditioned together with Cynthia.
She tried out for a part while simultaneously working on The Dropout, where she portrayed Elizabeth Holmes, the disgraced scientist. Notably, she received an Emmy for her performance in this series.
Amanda has come to terms with not being chosen to play Glinda. In fact, she publicly complimented Ariana for her outstanding portrayal.
‘I do, again, think everything happens for a reason,’ she said.
