The fresh trailer for Season 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen announces its planned release period and hints at significant narrative advancements. This sneak peek focuses on Yuji Itadori’s tribulations post the Shibuya Incident as it paves the way for the Culling Game storyline.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 trailer reveals it’s coming in early 2026

During a special, streamed celebration marking its fifth anniversary, Crunchyroll announced that production for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 is underway. Fans can anticipate the official debut of this new season in January 2026.

Entitled “Jujutsu Kaisen: The Culling Game,” the upcoming season follows the storyline of the eponymous manga arc. The episodes will be broadcasted weekly on Crunchyroll across many regions, coinciding with Japan’s airtime, except in Asia.

Initially, we see Yuji Itadori looking extremely worried, convinced that he caused numerous deaths in the Shibuya Incident. The trailer also includes a confrontation between Yuji and Yuta Okkotsu from Jujutsu Kaisen 0, along with a fight between Naoya Zen’in and Choso. Additionally, we catch glimpses of Megumi Fushiguro and Maki Zen’in in the clip.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share the exciting news that MAPPA is back for another season! This time around, Shota Goshozono steps up as our director, with Hiroshi Seko crafting the scripts, and both Yosuke Yajima and Hiromi Niwa contributing their talents to the character designs.
