On Sunday, Perrie Edwards took the stage during The Hundred Final, marking the occasion with a performance, as her newest single had just reached number one on the music charts.
As a die-hard admirer, I couldn’t help but feel my heart race when the ex-Little Mix sensation, aged 32, stepped onto the cricket field for an extraordinary performance! She graced us with the live debut of her fresh single, “If He Wanted To He Would,” and also serenaded us with a delightful medley of their past band hits. What a momentous occasion!
At the Lord’s Pavilion, she debuted her new single on television for the very first time, demonstrating her remarkable musical abilities.
The singer made sure to look stylish as she put on a very leggy display in a white wrap dress.
In the realm of fashion and style, I adorned my exquisite embroidered gown with an ensemble of captivating Bohomoon pendants, perfecting the look for an electrifying performance at a pulsating cricket extravaganza.
Meanwhile Perrie was also celebrating her latest single reaching number one in the charts.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’d rephrase that sentence like this: “I’m excited to share with you all an album filled with glamorous moments! Just like Perrie, I’ve posed proudly with my Big Top 40 trophy in hand, expressing heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support.
Next to her post, she wrote: “This is my second Big Top 40 No. 1, and it has a very unique feeling to it. A big thanks to all who downloaded it, and a special shoutout to @capitalofficial.
For its initial four years, The Hundred has welcomed prominent musicians such as Zara Larsson, Rudimental, Bastille, and Jax Jones, along with Raye, Becky Hill, Everything Everything, and Cat Burns, who have graced its stage.
Since The Hundred began in 2021, over 2.5 million fans have attended. Perrie’s performance marks the end of the tournament in 2025.
Over 2.5 million spectators have been to The Hundred since it started in 2021, and Perrie is wrapping up the 2025 event with a performance.
As a devoted fan, I’m all about championing her latest hit that emphasizes the importance of not giving undue praise just because your partner meets basic expectations, as I learned from her insightful interview with Rolling Stone.
Title of her latest work, “If He Wanted To He’d,” explores harmful relationships, offering an insightful perspective from a trusted confidant’s point of view.
During an evening conversation on The Capital Show, hosted by Jimmy Hill on a Friday, he inquired whether she had ever found herself in a scenario that required saying something like, “This isn’t working out, let’s end things.
Perrie responded: Quite frequently, indeed! And it’s something that many friendships encounter, as it happens often with the people around us.
As I navigated the situation, there was no comment from anyone. This silence frustrated me even more. It felt as though I was ashamed or self-conscious.

Even though my friends were fully aware of the situation, I couldn’t recognize it myself because when you’re deeply in love or involved in a relationship, your perspective is often clouded.
It seems like you’re really fixated on this individual, even though you’re aware of the warning signs. Yet, you choose to overlook them, similar to my situation.
After enduring some tough times, including heartache, that were incredibly difficult for me, when friends approached during that period, it wasn’t about making them feel as miserable as I was. Instead, it was more about trying to keep a positive outlook and not wanting them to go through the same pain.
I found myself thinking, I’ll ensure my friends don’t face the same hardships I did once I have some knowledge about it.
In The Hundred tournament, there are eight teams participating from seven different cities. Both men’s and women’s competitions happen concurrently. The teams are Welsh Fire based in Cardiff, Southern Brave hailing from Southampton, Northern Superchargers representing Leeds, London Spirit, Trent Rockets in Nottingham, Oval Invincibles from London itself, Manchester Originals, and Birmingham Phoenix.
Every team boasts top-notch international and local cricket players from various parts of the globe, featuring even the champions of the men’s and women’s World Cups from England.
Year after year for the past five years, The Hundred has collaborated with BBC Introducing to carefully select their music artists’ line-up.
The alliance champions emerging, unrecognized, and less prominent artists throughout the United Kingdom, offering them an opportunity to showcase their talent on some of the country’s most prominent cricket venues.
Besides every match featuring a lineup of live music, 2025 marked the comeback of The Hundred’s in-house DJs at each stadium.
