Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce ‘are NOT in the wedding planning phase yet’ after recent engagement

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are allegedly engaged, but it seems they haven’t begun organizing their upcoming nuptials as of now.

On August 26, the 35-year-old singer joyfully revealed that they had become engaged, and shared some heartwarming pictures from the proposal that took place in their home garden in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, belonging to Kelce.

Although the public is excited about their engagement, it seems that they have yet to start planning their wedding; they are still enjoying this joyful moment.

According to a source speaking to People, Taylor and Travis have been basking in joy following the proposal. They haven’t started planning their wedding just yet; instead, they’re savoring this new phase of their lives as an engaged couple and choosing to move at their own pace.

The source mentioned that it feels refreshing for the couple, as they no longer need to hide their engagement. Essentially, they are happy that the news is now public knowledge.

In September 2023, Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s proposal was confirmed as having been accepted by Swift, approximately two years into their relationship that had initially become public.

In her post, the creator of Shake It Off shared a series of affectionate photos with a humorous caption that read: ‘The school English and Physical Education teachers are tying the knot.’

Ed Kelce, Kelce’s father, shared that his son proposed about two weeks ago during a private moment in a flower-adorned garden setting.

On The Jimmy and Nath Show with Emma podcast, Ed reminisced that for dinner, they had planned to dine out, but she was eager to leave. He suggested, instead, they have a pre-dinner drink in the garden on the patio, offering wine. As they walked towards the garden, he noticed more flowers appeared all of a sudden, leading him to believe she may have sensed something unusual.

‘These are two young people madly in love with each other, and I think this is great,’ he added.

Meanwhile, Travis’ mom Donna, 72, has already begun collecting keepsakes from the special moment.

They did so by sharing pictures from a romantic photoshoot where the NFL star proposed to his girlfriend in a beautiful rose garden.

Daily Mail has confirmed Kelce actually got down on one knee earlier this month.

Taylor captioned the post: ‘Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.’

In the same post where she showcased her Grammy win, she also displayed her impressive engagement ring – a striking Old Mine Brilliant Cut diamond, believed to be from Kindred Lubeck at Artifex Fine Jewelry. This exquisite piece is estimated to be worth between $675,000 and $1 million.

On her Instagram, the star posted a tune called “So High School,” dedicated to her lasting affection for Kelce.

In September 2023, the pair made their relationship official by attending a Kansas City Chiefs game together, where the singer was spotted with Travis’ mom, Donna.
