Sydney’s hottest new couple gets frisky at Bondi: He’s 47 and a club king, she’s a 23-year-old model. Now, insiders reveal the telling sign Australia’s Leonardo DiCaprio is finally ready to settle down

Bondi Beach usually sees groups of Brazilian tourists, often in their twenties, using it as a romantic hangout.

Nightclub owner Julian Tobias, who is approaching 50, showed he’s still full of life while publicly displaying affection for his model girlfriend, Emma Harmelink, at a popular Sydney venue on Tuesday.

Okay, let’s just say I’ve seen a lot in my years observing life and love, but this couple definitely turned heads! There’s a significant age difference – 24 years, to be exact – and they weren’t shy about showing their affection. Our photographer happened to be there when they got quite cozy on a little hill, and… well, let’s just say it was a moment! It definitely sparked some conversation, even in a neighborhood known for seeing it all.

Julian, a 47-year-old known for his playboy lifestyle and owner of Sydney hotspots The Island and Sussudio, couldn’t help but show his affection for Emma, 23, as they shared a loving moment.

After relaxing and enjoying the sun, Julian leaned in and kissed the blonde woman.

Julian is known for dating younger women, a habit that’s often compared to Leonardo DiCaprio’s. Despite this, his relationship with his current, much younger partner is still a hot topic among Sydney’s high society.

The couple, despite their age difference, appeared completely comfortable and happy as they enjoyed the beach, playing in the water and walking along the shore with Julian’s dog.

Emma was spotted gently holding the back of Julian’s neck while they seemed to be having a very emotional talk.

After enjoying some time outdoors, the two friends went to a nearby chicken restaurant to get some takeout.

Afterward, the couple enjoyed their meal in Julian’s car, and Julian was even seen lovingly feeding his partner pieces of chicken.

People spotted them together after they took a romantic drive through the countryside of New South Wales earlier this month.

Julian posted pictures on Instagram of him and Emma traveling through the Australian Outback. One photo showed Emma, wearing a bikini, posing in their car at Mollymook Beach.

As a huge fan of Julian and Emma, I nearly fell off my chair when I saw his recent comment on her Instagram! He called her ‘wifey’! Seriously, that’s a major hint, right? It definitely feels like things are getting really serious between them, and I’m starting to think a proposal might be coming soon. I’m so excited for them!

With Julian publicly featuring Emma on his social media, many gossip columnists believe the famously private and usually commitment-shy bachelor might be ready for a serious relationship.

In 2023, Julian sparked rumors when he was briefly connected to Paris Ow-Yang, an 18-year-old model known for her work on OnlyFans. The connection quickly became a popular topic of conversation.

I was so shocked to hear they broke up! It seems he ended things with the influencer just two months after they started dating, and right after they’d been on vacation together. It’s just so sudden, and honestly, a bit harsh.

Paris recognized that her relationship with Julian looked strange, as he was only two years younger than her father, a well-known neurosurgeon in Sydney named Dr. Michael Ow-Yang.

A woman from Bondi shared on the PUNCLADS podcast that her boyfriend and father are very close in age – both 44 and 46 respectively.

I’ve been following Julian’s career since he first started out in Sydney back in 2009, and it’s been fascinating to watch him grow. Over the years, he’s also been linked to a lot of well-known women – it’s always been quite the topic of conversation!

He was engaged to Charlotte Coquelin for five years, but she ended the relationship and moved back to Paris in 2021. This was his most serious relationship so far.

Oh my gosh, before he stole my heart, he was all over the news with Nina Dobrev back in 2014! I was devastated, obviously, but then he dated Alexis Ren, that gorgeous Instagram model, in 2016. Still, it wasn’t me! Ugh, those were dark times… but now, well, now he’s everything to me!
