Jessie J has expressed regret to her fans, revealing that she must call off her upcoming U.S. concerts and delay her performances in the U.K., due to her ongoing fight against cancer.
As a devoted admirer, I couldn’t help but be moved by the news that my beloved singer, at 37, faced a mastectomy during her courageous fight against breast cancer in June. Last night on Instagram, she bravely shared that her journey isn’t over yet and she’s preparing for another surgery. I’m sending all my support and love to her during this challenging time.
As a lifestyle expert, I want to address some news that has been circulating about my dear friend Jessie. Although she hasn’t provided all the details yet, she wants me to convey that the health matter she’s dealing with right now isn’t something too alarming or severe. Unfortunately, it seems this issue will cause a slight conflict with her scheduled tour dates. I encourage everyone to keep her in your thoughts and prayers during this time, while looking forward to seeing her back on stage as soon as possible.
In a heartfelt message to her followers, she started by sharing that it’s been eight weeks since she underwent breast cancer surgery – a significant update to begin with.
‘Regrettably, I find myself requiring another operation. It’s not overly severe, but it must be carried out by the year’s end. Unfortunately, this timing coincides with a pre-planned tour I had scheduled.’
‘So I am living in the moment, I am embracing in the moment and I am flowing with the vibes.’

She went on to express her apologies saying: “I’m truly sorry for any inconvenience caused. I feel a mix of disappointment and sadness, but I understand that things happen as they will. To improve myself and heal, it is necessary. Therefore, I have decided to delay the tour until next year.
The newly announced schedule shifts both the UK and European shows to April 2026, while the logistics are still being worked out for the US dates, which have yet to be rescheduled.
Jessie shared that she hasn’t been able to arrange the US dates as planned, which means regrettably, the event has to be canceled. However, she is diligently working on finding suitable time slots for the venues in the upcoming year.
‘Please bear with us for the US tour, it is something I want to do but when the time is right.
‘You guys know how much I want to do all of it but I just can’t and I have to be realistic.’
She hinted at an upcoming release of new music, mentioning that she’s focusing on staying present while managing various aspects of her life that require attention.
However, I need time to recover, so please forgive me. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but I believe you were likely expecting this situation.
She added: ‘I love you all so much, I’m going to go before I cry my eyes out.’

After Jesse shared that she felt breast cancer had taken away precious time with her son, she provided an honest update about her life following surgery in a recent podcast discussion.
I myself was absolutely thrilled to tune into Jamie Laing’s Great Company podcast not just once, but twice! The first time was back in May, where the magic of his words unveiled his health battle. Fast forward a while, post-surgery, I eagerly returned to gain more insights from our beloved star.
Following the playback of the initial segment of the podcast, she expressed a preference for it not being made public. Post-surgery, she returned to re-record, during which she shared candidly and truthfully about her journey with cancer.
Jessie told how she found it hard having surgery and treatment as she missed out on time with Sky.
Yesterday, she expressed that she cried deeply. She feels overwhelmed, as if her role as a mother to her son is slipping away from her, and she yearns for him dearly. It seems that cancer has taken away precious moments she should have shared with her child.
Balancing treatment and caring for a toddler can be challenging, as life moves swiftly at times. There are days that are particularly difficult.
During her conversation, the singer openly discussed some challenging phases experienced during her cancer fight, stating: ‘There were times when I feared the outcome might turn grim and I would not survive.’
She noted, nonetheless, that she strangely finds herself oddly drawn to adverse situations, viewing them as opportunities for personal growth. She seems to attract such hardships, believing they are meant to prepare her for helping others who may later face similar trials.
Jesse shared about discovering a lump in her breast, followed by undergoing a biopsy, and later received a call from the doctors regarding the test results.
She shared that when she learned the news, she immediately started crying. Initially, the doctors had suspected it might be just a cyst, so her worry level wasn’t high. However, upon examination, the lump turned out to be approximately 4-5 centimeters in size and was cancerous.
Yet, it was my passion for music and my dedication to my profession that saw me through these challenging times. With work consuming most of my time following the diagnosis, I suspect I didn’t fully absorb or process the situation.
