This Transformers Star Wants to Return in Michael Bay’s Upcoming Sequel

Fans are excitedly looking forward to learning more about Michael Bay’s comeback in the Transformers series, and it seems that Josh Duhamel is keen on revisiting his character William Lennox. In a recent chat, the Emmy Award recipient mentioned that he doesn’t have many details regarding Bay’s upcoming Transformers film, but he’s open to returning to the franchise after an absence of eight years.

During an interview with Russ Milheim from The Direct about his upcoming project London Calling, Josh Duhamel discussed some aspects related to the upcoming Transformers film directed by Michael Bay. Despite not having many details about the project, the 52-year-old actor expressed interest in working with Bay again on this production.

Regarding the rumored Transformers 8 film, Duhamel stated that he hasn’t received any news about it. However, he added that if it’s true, why not? He highly respects Michael Bay’s talent and enjoyed collaborating with him extensively, having worked together on movies numbered 1, 2, 3, and 5.

Later on, Duhamel playfully commented on the career advancement of his character in the Transformers films. By the opening of the fifth movie, William Lennox had progressed from being a captain to holding the rank of colonel.
