On Thursday, Alexa Ray Joel attended the screening of Billy Joel: And So It Goes alongside her mother, Christie Brinkley.
39-year-old, and oldest daughter of Billy, the singer, amazed spectators at the Sag Harbor Cinema in New York when she appeared wearing a long, ivory gown adorned with stars on the sleeves.
She grew taller by wearing tall, naked platform shoes and carried her items in a pink handbag as she walked around.
Alexa completed her look with pigtails which she tied with two ivory ribbons tied into bows.
While her ex-husband Billy, Christie (age 71), who was married from 1985 to 1994, presented a relaxed look in a light-blue denim jumpsuit.
The single garment she wore had a tight belt at her waist, and it showcased a detailed floral pattern across its shoulder area.

To complete her outfit, Christie opted for a laid-back style with a set of ivory, high-tops Converse sneakers.
In my perspective as a devoted admirer, Billy’s latest HBO documentary offers an intimate peek into his personal journey and professional accomplishments. It delves deep into his most significant musical milestones, as well as the battles he faced against financial hardships and alcohol.
The recently aired two-part documentary series delves into his troubled marital life, struggles with alcohol addiction, and financial hardships.
As reported by Variety, initially, the artist behind the song “Honesty” was reluctant about creating a documentary. However, after some persuasion from his management team, he came to believe that it was the opportune moment for such a project.
As a die-hard fan, I’m sharing my own perspective on this artist. You know, the one who’s blessed with adorable kids named Della and Remy alongside Alexis Roderick. In his music and interviews, he’s been open about his past struggles too – battles that included attempts at suicide before fame touched his life. He’s also bravely discussed his mother’s challenging journey with alcoholism. It’s the raw honesty in his artistry that truly resonates with me.
And So It Goes has already gained glowing reviews from Rolling Stone, Variety, and Newsday.
The docuseries is debuting following approximately ten years of Joel seeming to mix up song lyrics, and this occurred shortly after he disclosed that all upcoming concerts had to be postponed because of a brain condition.
Back in May, I, a die-hard fan, was taken aback when Billy Joel himself revealed his diagnosis of Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH), a condition that’s left me holding my breath, hoping for the best.

According to a post on one of Joel’s social media accounts, it appears that the condition has affected his hearing, sight, and equilibrium.
The representative of the singer stated that his health situation has worsened due to his recent shows.
Excessive fluid accumulation within the ventricles, which are cavities in the brain and spinal cord, leads to increased pressure in these regions. This pressure causes a variety of symptoms, such as difficulties with walking and memory issues.
This occurs due to the pressure caused by excessive fluid, which squeezes and strains the brain tissue. This compression disrupts the management of muscles and hinders the interaction among nerve cells.

Anxious fans flocked online to show their support for the singer, following the news that was released three months after an incident where Joel tripped during a live performance in Connecticut.
Joel openly acknowledges facing memory issues that stretch beyond a single decade, following an instance where he momentarily lost his words during the performance of “We Didn’t Start The Fire” at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre on March 9, 2014.
At that moment, he shared with the crowd that the melody was among the “least appealing tunes” he had ever composed, halting his band mid-performance before spectators urged him to finish the song.
In a pause, Joel expressed, “Hold on for a moment. This isn’t correct. If just one word is misplaced in that song, it could turn into a disaster.
Billy Joel: And So It Goes is available to stream now on Hulu.
