How to download and play Clash of Clans and Clash Royale on Mac
To enjoy games directly on a Mac, you’ll require additional hardware as an official macOS game version isn’t currently offered.
To enjoy these two games, there are just two simple actions to follow. First, you need to install an emulator – I’ll walk you through that process. Second, you’ll mirror your iPhone screen to your computer, which will allow you to control the game on your phone using your computer. Let me explain both options for you in detail.
1. Playing via Android Emulator

2. Play via iPhone Mirroring
Playing the games can also be done differently, but it requires macOS Sequoia 15 or a more recent version. Apple’s iPhone Mirroring feature enables you to stream and interact with your iPhone right on your Mac.

- Ensure your Mac and iPhone meet system requirements and are signed in to the same Apple ID.
- Keep your iPhone locked and near your Mac.
- Open the iPhone Mirroring app from the Dock, Launchpad, or Applications folder.
- If prompted, unlock your iPhone and allow access or notifications.
- Once connected, your iPhone screen will appear in a resizable window on your Mac.
- Launch Clash of Clans or Clash Royale on your iPhone and play using your Mac’s display and input.
- To stop, simply quit the iPhone Mirroring app or unlock your iPhone.
Note that both these steps support crossplay and progression with a single account.
