The 31-year-old Parliament Member advocating for animal rights during the Victorian era radiated beauty as she made her entrance to Canberra’s grandest event, adorned in a sleek, black silk gown.
Purcell added a touch of style to her appearance with a pair of purple high-heels, while carrying a black sling bag, all the while linking arms with her sweetheart.
Burns, 37, also looked dapper at the event in a black tuxedo, white buttoned shirt and a bow tie.
He finished off his outfit with a pair of black shoes, and he was beaming ear-to-ear as he struck a pose next to his girlfriend.

Burns identifies as Jewish, is a strong advocate for Zionism, and frequently expresses support for the nation of Israel. On the other hand, Purcell is a well-known pro-Palestinian activist who often participates in demonstrations.
Previously working as a stripper and adorned with numerous tattoos, Purcell boasts over 200,000 followers on Instagram. She frequently shares her thoughts on Palestine through her posts.
According to Burns, despite having different perspectives on the matter, he and Purcell can still agree on key points.
