Brett Goldstein’s “captivating” drama gets emotional trailer ahead of streaming release

The captivating drama by Brett Goldstein, titled “All of You“, has debuted its moving preview before its online premiere.

On September 26th, you’ll find me immersed in a new movie premiering on Apple TV+. Starring the talented Hannah Waddingham, known for her role in Ted Lasso, and the brilliant Imogen Poots from 28 Weeks Later, this film introduces us to their characters Simon and Laura, who are close friends of mine.

Longtime college companions, they start to ponder if their connection transcends friendship boundaries as they both discover potential romantic matches. This leads them to contemplate whether diving into a romantic relationship might endanger their cherished bond.

What to Read Next

College buddies Simon (Goldstein) and Laura (Poots) lose touch as she discovers her soulmate through a test, despite the fact they’ve harbored unspoken feelings for each other for years.

Over time, as Simon and Laura’s lives intersect and separate, it becomes clear to both of them that they may have missed out on a life together. Faced with the possibility of altering their life trajectories, they must decide whether to take a chance on love that has always been there or accept their current circumstances.

Alongside Goldstein (a co-writer of the movie alongside director William Bridges), as well as Poots, we have Jenna Coleman, Zawe Ashton, Steven Cree, and Éva Magyar joining the cast.

The new trailer presents a captivating, forward-thinking dramatic story. It hints at an engaging journey filled with emotional moments among the friends, suggesting both poignant tears and joyful laughter are in store for us.

According to the preview, Collider found the movie to be both captivating and extraordinary, while IndieWire noted that it carries a powerful impact.

During a significant scene in the latest trailer, Laura wonders if Simon was the one when she asked him, ‘On the day I took the soulmate test, did it cross your mind it might have been you?’

Playing it cool, Simon looks at her and simply replies with a “nah”.

In another instant, Ashton’s character, Andrea, informs Laura that Simon is undeniably in love with her. Soon after, a kiss between Simon and Laura becomes apparent.

All of You will premiere on Apple TV+on 26 September.
