Tammy Hembrow finally addresses her new romance with AFL heartthrob Bailey Smith

Tammy Hembrow has finally addressed her new romance with AFL star Bailey Smith.

Approximately three weeks ago, the Daily Mail initially disclosed the budding romance between the fitness influencer and Bailey, following their intimate lunch rendezvous in the Gold Coast.

At a Sasha Therese fashion event held in Melbourne on Wednesday evening, Tammy, aged 31, expressed her admiration for the sports star.

She described Bailey as a ‘sweetie’ and also said he’s a ‘good guy’.

She shared with the Herald Sun that she’s in Melbourne for a mix of reasons – some work-related tasks, some leisure activities, and a blend of both.

‘I’m not going to say anything about Bailey except he’s a sweetie, he’s a good guy.’

Fans were left excitedly guessing due to Tammy’s recent outings with AFL player Bailey throughout the last few weeks.

The 24-year-old flew from Melbourne to the Gold Coast two weekends in a row to woo the YouTuber.

Initially, the pair were spotted exiting together from the upscale Asian fusion eatery known as Rick Shores, situated in Burleigh Heads. Subsequently, they were observed passionately kissing at a different dining establishment.

Recently, the couple was seen taking a charming walk towards Nobby Beach, and it seemed that the footballer had his arm affectionately around Tammy’s waist.

After Tammy made her public appearances with the AFL star, Matt Zukowski, her ex-husband, has acknowledged that he experienced a sense of hurt as he watched his former spouse seemingly move on swiftly following their split.

In a surprising turn of events, the celebrity from Love Island implied that it was him who chose to bring an end to their relationship, contradicting rumors suggesting Tammy was the one who initiated the split.

Approximately two months back, I had to face one of the most challenging choices I’ve ever encountered in my life,” he shared on his ‘Where’s Your Head At?’ podcast with Anna McEvoy. (Paraphrased)

‘I decided to leave a relationship that I found was not right for me,’ he continued.

‘It was unhealthy for me.’

Matt and Tammy got engaged in December 2023 after just three months of dating.

Approximately a year after their engagement, they officially got married in November 2024. However, whispers of them separating started surfacing earlier in the current year.

In June, just seven months after tying the knot, the pair announced their divorce.
