Nobody likes going to the DMV, including most of the people working there.
A fresh CBS series debuting on October 13 delves into life within one of the least favorite places to run errands, which fittingly goes by the name “DMV.” Featuring Harriet Dyer and Tim Meadows as part of an eclectic cast, the series chronicles the motley crew working at a (fictional) DMV office in East Hollywood.

In the sneak peek for the comedic series set in a workplace, Dyer portrays Colette, a driving examiner, who finds herself undergoing a perilous evaluation with an elderly woman. This experience leads her to reflect regretfully on her career path as she faces a whiteboard stating “0 tests since I came close to meeting my end.” Meadows is cast as Gregg, a grumpy ex-English teacher who makes fun of Colette, who develops feelings for the new hire Noa (Alex Tarrant).

Television
This season offers a diverse range of programming, featuring the dramatic series ‘Black Rabbit’, the documentary series ‘Mr. Scorsese’, and the comedic show ‘DMV’. Together, they embody the democratic essence of television, catering to various tastes.
Completing the ensemble are Tony Cavalero portraying Vic, a previous bouncer with a penchant for handling challenging drivers, Molly Kearney as Barbara, a newly advanced manager with kind intentions but questionable execution, and Gigi Zumbado as Ceci, an assertive photographer unafraid to express her opinions.
Initially viewing the series bears a striking resemblance to commuting in LA, characterized by congested highways, questionable driving decisions from motorists, overcrowded vehicles, and endless queues – not forgetting the extensive wait times at various spots.
Every week, you can catch “DMV” on CBS between 8:30 and 9 PM Pacific Time. You’ll also have the option to watch it live or on-demand on Paramount+ streaming platform.
