Lana Del Rey is opening up about her marriage to Jeremy Dufrene.
In simpler terms, the singer aged 40 openly acknowledged experiencing a few obstacles in their marriage since they got married in September 2024.
The main issues often arise due to the focus given to them, as their union faced intense scrutiny following their wedding, with many critics harshly judging her choice of partner. However, Lana has expressed gratitude for her husband’s laid-back attitude.
She shared with W Magazine that, given the situation, she herself would have felt anxious. Her feelings were stronger than typical, and these strong feelings are often intense for her.
But Jeremy was fine. He said, “If you want, worry about yourself, but don’t worry about me!”‘

In her own words, she stated that Jeremy holds a significant role in her life, more so than anyone else. While he may be reserved in social settings, when they’re alone together, he is quite chatty.
It’s peculiar that Jeremy and I often find ourselves engaging in activities we refer to as “parking lot moments.” These instances seem to consume a significant amount of our time, with us typically using this time to read, converse, or simply hang out in parking lots while inside the car.
The musician from Video Games remarked: ‘Occasionally, in life, it may seem as if you are the only one with a deep affection for a specific thing, such as spending time alone in an unoccupied Macy’s or Home Depot parking lot. To some individuals, this might appear unusual, but eventually, you will come across another person who shares that unique feeling.’
Through her marriage to Dufrene, Del Rey found herself feeling more at ease around alligators.
The star commented: ‘At first, I felt a bit anxious, but Louisiana boasts friendlier alligators compared to Florida. You won’t believe it, but Jeremy even swims with them! As for me, I also venture into the bayous, but I never go alone because the alligators are present there too.’
Del Rey recognized instantly that she was smitten with Dufrene upon their first encounter during one of his alligator excursions.
In September, the performer got married to the tour guide. She remembered that it was during their initial meeting on a swamp boat tour in Louisiana, all the way back in 2019, when she knew immediately that Jeremy was her match.
During an interview with W magazine, Lana expressed that upon their first meeting, she quickly discovered she had strong feelings for him, yet recognized potential challenges due to her circumstances.
Jeremy mentioned that he handles alligators, implying his resilience due to their tough hide. True to his character, he kept his promises. Despite the numerous issues that bothered me, he simply listened and responded with, “Be yourself, and I will love you even more.
