Lindy Klim, 46, is roasted as she shares chaotic video of herself trying on a bizarre $3,000 frou frou mini dress: ‘I am too old’

On Monday, Lindy Klim faced criticism online after posting a video of her attempting to wear an unusual frilly mini dress.

In the video, the woman aged 46 found it challenging to wear a designer dress worth $3,000 by Toni Maticevski, trying hard to embody the character of Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City.

The influencer showed signs of annoyance when she accidentally zipped herself up and found it challenging to slip into her high heels.

She said in the video, sounding a bit creaky, as she struggled with the back zip: ‘I’m getting up there in years, and it’s hard for me to bend down these days,’ with the timeless SATC theme tune humming along in the background.

Spectators got a close-up view of every frustrated groan and laugh from the fans, and at one instance, Lindy disclosed that she had accidentally injured herself when her finger got stuck in a zipper.

She confessed that she was feeling quite warm and sweaty, subsequently putting on a denim jacket and stating, “This absolutely gives off Sarah Jessica Parker’s style!

Lindy then likened herself to a ‘cream puff’ and wondered aloud if pink was really her colour.

‘Oh my God! Sarah Jessica Parker!’ joked Lindy’s teenage daughter Stella.

‘This look!!!’ added Nadia Bartel, while Melbourne socialite Chris Kontos said: ‘LOL Dead.’

In July, when Lindy shocked everyone with her surprising confession regarding her living situation, people raised their eyebrows. She disclosed that she had some experience with minimalist living and admitted to being financially strained after her divorce.

It appears that the former wife of Olympic swimmer Michael Klim, as well as British property developer Adam Ellis, lived a seemingly enchanted life as an expatriate, residing in a villa located in Uluwatu.

Instead of showcasing high-end fashion, she often focused on promoting her brand, Fig Femme – a well-known vulva sheet mask in the realm of women’s health and wellness.

But as her relationship with Adam crumbled in Bali, so did her intimate skincare brand.

Lindy moved back to Melbourne from Bali in October last year after her split with Adam.

On social media, she openly shared that her family has been consuming their meals directly from a cardboard container.

In simpler terms, she posted a picture showing a combined living and dining area with a stunning panorama of the Melbourne cityscape.

The image showcases prominently a fashionable, circular dining table, supported by a robust, burgundy-toned base. Four coordinating chairs are positioned around it.

Captioning the image, Lindy revealed the table was a recent addition to the household.

‘I’m so proud of myself,’ she wrote. ‘I’ve finally bought a dining table and chairs.’

‘We have literally been eating off a cardboard box on the floor for months,’ she added.

Lindy shared a second photo that showed evidence of her low-key dining set-up.

Simultaneously, her business named Fig Femme was listed for insolvency hearings in the Supreme Court of Victoria, and a petition for its liquidation was submitted in May 2025.

As I delve into the world of businesses, I’ve come across one that has an intriguing history. Officially, it remains active. However, public court records reveal a compelling story. In 2024 and again in 2025, creditors petitioned for the company to be liquidated, suggesting financial challenges that the business has navigated through.

It seems that the brand hasn’t shared any updates on its social media accounts since February this year, and their online store appears to be out of service.

Its products are also no longer being sold on Kourtney Kardashian’s POOSH website.

In 2020, Lindy introduced a line of personal feminine care products, tastefully referring to them as “skin care solutions for the intimate area.

The products consist of a daily wash named ‘Refresh’ specifically designed for your intimate areas, and a ‘Revive Hydrating Mist’ aimed at combating odor-producing bacteria.

There was also the ‘Restore Mask’ – a luxurious sheet mask for the vulva.

2021 saw her marking a significant business achievement as Fig Femme secured a spot on POOSH’s website, making it the very first Australian fashion label to be showcased there.
