Elizabeth Hurley gets fans talking as she reveals Billy Ray Cyrus’ peculiar nickname in birthday tribute

As a devoted admirer, I took to Instagram to shower my dear boyfriend, Billy Ray Cyrus, with heartfelt birthday wishes. In the process, I delightfully revealed the unique moniker I’ve affectionately bestowed upon him.

60-year-old actress from the movie “Bedazzled” shared affectionate pictures in celebration of her partner’s 64th birthday on Monday. She sweetly referred to him as “Squirrel Man”.

‘Happy Birthday Squirrel Man,’ she captioned the post, along with four red heart emojis.

At assorted occasions, Elizabeth and Billy Ray seemed indistinguishable from any other love-struck pair, capturing sweet selfies with each other.

The final segment of the post featured an adorable video of Elizabeth and Billy Ray exchanging laughter and a affectionate kiss.

Onlookers couldn’t help but notice the deep affection between the pair in the pictures, but some were still taken aback by the unusual matchup.

A few couldn’t help but bring attention to the unusual pet name.

‘Wonder why you call him squirrel,’ one wrote with a laughing-crying emoji.

Another posted a meme of a squirrel that read ‘COME AT ME BRO.’

They referred to Lana del Rey’s marriage as ‘Lana & the Alligator Man’, using the nickname ‘Alligator Man’ for Jeremy Dufrene, and compared it to ‘Elizabeth & Squirrel man’. The shrug emoji was added to convey a casual or indifferent tone.

In general, the comments reaction was rather mixed.

‘I’ve never seen Billy Ray smile like this in my life!’ one posted.

‘Looking happy,’ another posted.

One person commented on their unusual yet adorable relationship, saying, ‘May you both find joy.’

‘Achy Breaky Mistakey,’ another wrote, referencing Billy Ray’s hit song Achy Breaky Heart.

‘We are so confused. #mismatch,’ another posted.

Elizabeth and Billy Ray shocked fans when they debuted their unlikely romance back in April.

The pair’s relationship began following his divorce from Firerose – his third marriage.

In the making of the 2022 film “Christmas In Paradise”, he encountered Elizabeth, and during a time of separation, he got a message from none other than Liz.

He expressed, “Geez, could things be any more challenging? Could they be any more difficult?” At some point, it seemed as though nothing could leave him feeling lower than being flat on his back with life pushing against him. And during this tough time… a friend extended a helping hand to him, he shared on Apple Music’s The Ty Bentli Show in April.

Afterwards, Billy made an effort to remember what the message contained and clarified that it went something like this: “Hi, it seems life could get challenging, just thought you should know I’m here supporting you; you’ve got my support.

Upon receiving the initial text, I found myself puzzled about its origin.

I replied with ‘Who is this?’ and to my surprise, it was Elizabeth Hurley. Out of everyone who could contact me at that exact moment when I really needed a laugh, it was one of my friends.

He later gushed that the actress is ‘a great human being’ and also ‘impressively brilliant.’

‘There’s quite a resemblance between her and Dolly Parton – she’s an impressively shrewd entrepreneur. Sharing laughter is a powerful bond that can help you navigate even the toughest situations.’

The star also reflected on how he has also gotten close to his girlfriend’s son Damian as well.

I’m really grateful that God introduced these people to me at the right time. It’s just wonderful, and it’s been quite some time since I’ve felt this level of happiness.

Billy Ray Cyrus was once married to Tish Cyrus from 1993 up until 2023. Together, they have four kids: Miley (age 32), Noah (age 25), and Braison (age 31). Additionally, Billy Ray serves as a stepfather to Tish’s other two children from a past relationship – Brandi (age 38) and Trace (age 36).

He is also dad to son Christopher, 33, whom he welcomed with ex Kristen Luckey.

Elizabeth resides in a £6 million, 13-bedroom mansion located in Herefordshire along with her son Damian, whom she had with the late Steve Bing. (Herefordshire is the county where the estate is situated.)

The grand Georgian mansion, serving as Elizabeth’s primary residence, features no less than five bathrooms and a private lake.

Since 2012, she has been the owner of Donnington Hall, a property she purchased together with her late fiancé, Shane Warne, who sadly passed away in March 2022.
