Starting October 15th, I’m stoked to share that Level-Up Research tasks will no longer be available for levels 41 through 50. Instead, we’re introducing fresh research challenges for levels 71 through 80! If you’ve managed to climb up to level 70 or beyond, there’s a higher chance of you and other trainers becoming ‘Lucky Friends’ – pretty cool, huh? Let’s catch ’em all!
Additionally, you’ll be excited to discover advancement perks for leveling up, such as additional storage for Pokémon, items, and Gifts, along with new avatar items available from level 25. Moreover, some of you might even get rewards tied to the levels you skip over, depending on the experience points you’ve accumulated earlier.
Claim legacy rewards before October 15 and enjoy massive XP bonuses
Upon reaching your highest level, you’ll be rewarded with a commemorative medal, along with exclusive accessories such as glasses, poses, boots, hats, and the Level 50 Jacket. However, please note that from October 15th onwards, these legacy items will no longer be obtainable.

great news! The XP Celebration event has started and will continue until October 14. This means you’ll get extra rewards such as:
– Doubled Catch XP from Nice, Great, and Excellent Throws
– Over 3,000 XP when you win raids
– Over 3,000 XP when you win Max Battles
These bonuses can be combined with those of other ongoing events. Enjoy playing!
Furthermore, a unique “Timed Research” feature will become accessible for players at level 5 and beyond, allowing you to potentially accumulate more than 7 million XP. The game is also modifying the Level-Up Research task at level 47, which previously required exploring 25km in a week on eight separate occasions. Now, it only needs to be completed twice for achievement.
