On Monday during her ongoing family vacation in Majorca, Jessie J showcased an amazing appearance in a sleek black swimsuit, approximately two months following her mastectomy as she bravely battles breast cancer.
37-year-old singer from the band Price Tag, who had surgery in June, smiled brightly while spending special moments playing in a pool with her spitting image, two-year-old son Sky.
With a broad, radiant grin directed at the camera, Jesse effortlessly exuded style, donning a chic one-shoulder outfit and accessorizing it with eye-catching gold earrings.
In my own words, I, being Sky, joyfully immersed myself in the refreshing waters, donning a swim shirt, accompanied by my cherished parents, Chanan Safir Colman, aged 40. The experience was nothing short of delightful.
Jessie wrote as a caption: “Sky picked up the habit of giving thumbs up during our vacation, and now he seems to think that everyone nearby should applaud whenever he does it.
As a die-hard fan, I couldn’t help but feel elated when I learned that the singer’s in-laws were part of the entourage! Last week, it was revealed that she and her beloved partner Sky had made a special trip to Majorca to meet Chanan and his family. What an amazing opportunity to witness such a heartwarming reunion!

She wrote that we traveled to join Daddy in Spain (along with Grandad, Nana, aunts, uncles, and cousins),” she humorously noted.
The contented pair, together since 2021, enjoyed their visit to a captivating villa boasting a spacious garden outside.
Following Jesse’s disclosure about breast cancer making her feel it stole time with her son, she provided a personal update on her life after surgery during a heartfelt conversation on her latest podcast episode.
She taped the two segments of Jamie Laing’s Great Company podcast at different times. The first part was in May, during which she shared her medical diagnosis. The second part was following her surgery.
Following the playback of the initial segment from the podcast, she expressed reluctance to make it public. Post-surgery, she returned to rerecord, this time sharing candidly and truthfully about her struggles with cancer.
Jessie told how she found it hard having surgery and treatment as she missed out on time with Sky.
Yesterday, she expressed that she cried profusely. She feels overwhelmed, questioning her ability to be a mother to her son, and deeply missing his presence. It seems like the cancer diagnosis has left her bereft of cherished moments with her boy.
The treatment didn’t catch everything, and life moves incredibly quickly when you’re taking care of a toddler. Some days can be particularly challenging.

During her discussion, the singer openly shared some challenging aspects of her cancer journey, stating that at times she felt a sense of despair, saying something like, ‘There were instances when I feared the outcome might be dire, and I thought I wouldn’t survive.’
She also mentioned that, strangely enough, she sometimes finds herself getting a strange sense of pleasure when bad things happen to her because it means she has an opportunity to grow. Furthermore, she believes that these difficult situations are happening to her so she can help others who may encounter similar challenges.
Jesse explained that she discovered a mass in her breast, followed by having a biopsy. Afterward, the doctors called her back to discuss the test results.
Upon hearing the news, she couldn’t help but break down in tears. Initially, she had been reassured that it might only be a cyst, which didn’t cause much concern. However, the doctors discovered a lump measuring around 4-5 centimeters was actually cancerous.
However, my passion for music and dedication to my job provided the strength I needed during this challenging time. With work consuming much of my attention following the diagnosis, I believe I didn’t fully process events as they unfolded.
Her last show before having surgery was Capital’s Summertime Ball which she remembers fondly.
She expressed about that day, “It would be wonderful if anyone who has ever received a daunting diagnosis could live through the joyful moments I experienced at the Summertime Ball.
In simple terms, I announced that this performance would be my final one before tackling cancer, and the entire audience reacted with an outpouring of support, making it feel like they were all embracing me.
In a more relaxed, conversational style: “Reliving that blissful, invigorating experience was… Even as I drifted off to sleep, my mind kept playing back that special moment. It reminded me of the sincere affection people have for one another. There were signs everywhere reading ‘We love you’, ‘I’ve overcome cancer twice’ and similar heartfelt messages.
Following her operation, she expressed immense joy for being alive and cried upon seeing her boyfriend once she regained consciousness.
After the surgery, she shared how overjoyed she was just to be alive, causing tears to fall as soon as she caught sight of her boyfriend upon waking up.

After last week, the singer shared that receiving a breast cancer diagnosis led her to understand ‘life is too fleeting’, inspiring her to chase some dreams.
Sharing insights from her journey on Instagram over the weekend, Jessie outlined fresh obstacles she’s keen to pursue.
She shared: “My aspirations include writing books, creating a children’s album, removing my tattoos, planning a vacation with my family.
I aspire to master bicycling, and I’d love to pick up another language too. However, I understand that may not be feasible at this time.
I’m considering exploring options for managing my ADHD and OCD, whether it’s through medications, cognitive therapy, or alternative methods.
Jessie explained: ‘When you go through something like cancer people are like ‘you’ve changed.’
Perhaps I’ve harbored those thoughts for quite some time, but cancer has given me the push to act on them. It’s as if the realization of life’s brevity sparks a sense of urgency within us – ‘seize the day,’ we think. So, I’ve decided to take action and fulfill my long-held desire.
Recently, Jessie openly expressed her emotional response as she wept upon seeing her surgical scars.
During an emotional conversation with The Sunday Times’ Culture Magazine, Jessie revealed that upon seeing her surgical scars, she cried.
Initially, the performer was informed by medical professionals that since the cancer was detected at an early stage, she wouldn’t require radiation therapy or chemotherapy. However, given the significant size of the lump in her breast, a full mastectomy was performed rather than a simpler lumpectomy.
