Brooklyn Beckham makes defiant cookery video comeback after criticism from celeb chef – as he whips up pasta for wife Nicola Peltz while wearing 00s Jesus Is My Homeboy tee

After facing critique on a previous Instagram cooking video this month, Brooklyn Beckham has once again started posting his culinary videos on the platform.

26-year-old nepo-kid recently posted a tutorial on social media about preparing a basic pasta sauce, following criticism from renowned chef Aldo Zilli over allegedly burned bacon in a spaghetti carbonara dish, not long ago.

Sixty-nine-year-old Aldo criticized Brooklyn, son of David and Victoria, stating that he had hopped onto a trend (bandwagon) and needed further instruction after his actions resembled ruining pancetta (burning the guanciale).

In my latest Sunday vlog, I eagerly shared a delightful culinary journey as I prepared a delectable, effortless tomato pasta. The adventure commenced with a warm welcome from me, “Today, I’m cooking up a simple tomato pasta,” followed by a captivating montage of the preparation process set to Ashanti’s timeless 2002 hit, Foolish. Enjoy the ride!

His choice of music hinted at nostalgia for past eras, since Brooklyn was wearing a shirt reminiscent of the 2000s.

Back in the day, I was one with the trendsetters who proudly rocked the ‘Jesus Is My Homeboy‘ logo on my white tee. This iconic slogan, a favorite among style icons such as Jessica Simpson, Pamela Anderson, Ben Affleck, Ashton Kutcher, and Brad Pitt, was a symbol of its time.

After that, he was observed presenting his dish to his wife, Nicola Peltz, who posted a video showing her husband joining her by the poolside and asking, “Darling, would you like to try some? It tastes amazing with this basil.” Following this, they exchanged ‘I love you’ sentiments.

She then shared another video of the dish, writing: ‘Perfect Sunday’ on top.

In response to Aldo’s sarcastic comments about his cooking videos, which usually prompt laughter, Brooklyn appeared unperturbed.

In relation to the discussion about the meat, he felt compelled to justify his position and remarked: “The Guanciale contains a lot of sugar which is why it appears darker. I cooked it slowly to ensure it wasn’t overcooked or burnt.

In the aftermath of their vowel renewal ceremony three years following their wedding, Brooklyn’s social media posts reflect his new marital status alongside Nicola.

The pair got married again on August 2 in Westchester County, surrounded by her family, without any presence of the Beckham family at either ceremony.

Brooklyn and Nicola, aged 30, have recently distanced themselves from his family, as indicated by their absence, which follows persistent rumors about a strained relationship within the once close-knit family.

According to reports close to the Beckhams, it appears that the family found it hard to comprehend why Brooklyn and Nicola felt the necessity to remarry just three years following their initial wedding in 2022.

According to a source, The Sun reported that they found it excessive for the individuals to flaunt such lavish displays of wealth, especially just three years after the event. This act might be more acceptable if it occurred 10 or even 5 years later.

Instead, one could rephrase that sentence as follows: “Why didn’t Brooklyn share their plans with his family beforehand if the intention was to create a sweet family moment?” This version aims to maintain the original sentiment while using simpler and more conversational language.

Indeed, it’s worth mentioning that despite some instances of improvement, the underlying tension can be traced back as far as 2021 – approximately half a year prior to the initial wedding celebration.

The relationship’s chemistry has never quite worked out as planned. Undeniably, David and Victoria wish nothing but happiness for Brooklyn, and it’s clear he remains deeply in love. However, many people have been hurt in the process. This situation is sad, and there’s a strong feeling that reconciliation might not be possible anymore. It seems this chapter has come to an end.
